I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
"People ask 'why now?' but this was affecting my home life. I wasn't a good person to be around. Playing for Ireland was all I wanted to do. I grew up dreaming of wearing the green but you ask yourself is it worth the hassle".
Stephen Ward's autobiography will be serialised every Saturday only in The Sun newspaper starting this Saturday.
Assist sorry
Bundles the ball home to give Burnley a 2-0 lead against Bournemouth. Similar kind of poachers goal following a corner to a couple he's scored for us in the past, against Northern Ireland and Estonia.
According to reports, Hull have accepted a £10m bid for Andrew Robertson...

Could spell bad news for Ward and Brady. Perhaps Meyler too.

You mean Hull have accepted a bid.
Anyway, good to see your glass half empty as always.
What has that got to do with Meyler?
And Mason is injured and they've sold Livermore. You're reaching. Really reaching.
You don't need to be so negative all the time. I see your Markovic in and raise you Snodgrass out. And Evandro is completely different to Meyler too. Livermore and Mason are far more similar to him.
Robertson staying put according to SSN.
he had a good game v Tottenham even though they lost 2-0, he looks a lot slimer than he used to look but I think that has been mentioned before.
I think he has new haricut too so he looks a completely different player.
His good play featured on motd in the highlights.
Also I think he is the best Irish player in the stats as the moment with two intact legs.
Off with a knock just before half time against Palace. Earlier assisted burnley's opener.
He played very well in the first half. Apart from the assist he put two very good crosses in from Coleman like positions (on the left obviously) which almost led to goals. The knock looked innocuous enough but he was in pain, played on and then got hit again towards the end of the first half.
Stutts should ask his physio how long Ward will be out for.
SORRY! Couldn't resist.
Brady seems to have been dropped. He hasn't really taken off at Burnley yet it seems. He was poor against Man Utd last week even though they were outplayed generally, Hendrick definitely fared the better out of the two though.
That was a good spot Tricky, his 45 minutes in Saturday's game v CP attracted many plaudits and he was rewarded by being included in the BBC's EPL totw.
" in football there was no better ball than the first-time cross. At the time, I didn't really appreciate the significance of the statement but, as I began to understand how difficult it was to score goals, I became indebted to those full-backs who had the vision and ability to execute the skill.
Stephen Ward clearly understands the importance of that statement, and so does Ashley Barnes for that matter. It was Barnes who took complete advantage of Ward's first-time cross, which gave the Burnley striker the time to have two bites at putting the ball in the back of the net."
Class goal just now to put Burnley 2-0 up against ten man Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
