    Mervue

Two points dropped in Terryland tonight as Mervue played for about seventy minutes with ten men. Straight red for their number ten for a studs-up challenge on Anto Russell. Rest of the first half was fairly quiet with Gary having one good chance but shot wide when well placed.

Wexford created more chances in the second with Shane Dempsey having one good free-kick and Conor Sinnott hitting the cross-bar with a second one. Best chance of all fell to Jimmy Keohane who stooped for a free header but hit the post. Packie then pulled off one good save with five minutes to go when ball ran through to a Mervue forward but Packie smothered his shot when he came out quickly. Overall, our passing wasn't slick enough to break down the ten men and we have problems up front which we need to sort out for the third series of matches. Good away support from Wexford.

still did not create enough chances midfield is not working with Dempsey, Sinnott, Malone one of them is being accommodated and team is suffering for it. earlier in season when we played 4-4-2 with two wide players we looked a better team and need to try return to this.

Lovely ground, definitely one of the best, although a shop or something would be great. Really disappointing game for us, hard to say that we deserved anything other than nil all. We'll need major improvement if we want to stay in the same position we're in now.

yeah understand that about attendances but surely a shop where you could buy a drink would not be to hard to bring in understand about the hot food but you live and learn and will be bringing a bottle of water next time really enjoyed the visit

They had a mobile shop there for our game, no hot stuff apart from tea and coffee, but they had some rolls and the like I think, bars and packets and cold drinks.
The chipper trailer was there also but locked up, was told it only opened for the Galway games alright.
