i could quite happily live on toast and butter for the rest of my life. And wouldnt complain if every couple of years some kind soul donated a pot of little chip for the toast (for desert).

Of course melted cheese on toast comes very close to tuna melt in the yumminess league. Doesn't even need butter. Which is usually Just Wrong, of course.

Hot Chicken Baguette for treaty Friday lunch today. Lovely melted cheese. Nyom.

Cheesy puns. That's exactly the sort of behaviour that should be banned. They're so bad I wish I'd thought of them!

My username? Racking my brains here, but I don't know which cheese you mean. Or does it just sound like it should be a cheese? (Might be tempting fate, but what kind of cheese would it be in that case?)

The woman absolutley loves cheese. Most fellas bring home chocolates or flowers when they've fckd up in some way. I land home with a triangle of Brie and all is forgiven.

    You're a poet, don't you know it!

Let's go on the road together: we can offer da ham and eminence grise sandwich. Anyone from Mayo willing to spread (!) the news and make a three-way partnership? (Enda, are you out there...?)

Men, normally overweight men who wear rugby jerseys with under armour underneath when out and about or in the pub... that Canterbury or whatever make stuff that "athletes" wear, I mean what do they think they look like?

That's clearly some kind of sexual innuendo.

...says he with a username often used in polite company to refer to male wotsits...

I'm tempted to tell you to zip it, but that would be labouring the point, and anyway your post gave me a laugh when I needed one!!

those who watch Modern Family might be aware that Sofia Vergara likes to think about the baby cheeses at christmas time. I can only presume she means these

It could be worse, you could be a harps fans.

Though actually, that might save you some hassle with the whole human emotions thing

Using the football expressions 'he's not an international standard player', and 'the sign of a great team is winning when not playing well'. They're both bull****.

I'd had "he should have hit the target" to that. Also, people thinking that hitting the post is a shot on target.
