    LOI Series 24

    http://www.oddschecker.com/football/...agues/ireland/

1/2 on Fingal is very good considering they hammered Athlone in the cup on Friday. They're bang in form at the moment and I don't expect them to have any problems.

Elsewhere, Drogheda are a HUGE 11/4 to beat Cork at home with Stan James. The bookies don't seem to be taking into account Cork's problems and the fact that half their remaining squad could be gone by the time this game rolls around. Very tempting, this one.

Monaghan also look decent value at 4/5 against Harps.

    As above.

Youths are in appalling form and Wallace is talking about freshening things up and bringing in new blood from the 18's so it's hard to know how Youths will do, the only plus is they do perform better away from home.

Putting a small bit on this too. Drogheda are playing reasonably well. As proven last year, Doolin is not your man when the chips are down, the money's gone, and the players are peeved.

Backing Drogheda DNB @ 11/8 (Willy Hill) - 2 pts

    Shelbourne HT/FT 8/11
    Sporting Fingal 1/2
    Drogheda Utd 5/2

Boyles go the best price on the above treble @ a shade over 8s so that's where my hard earned is going this week. 1pt staked.

Some profit ensured for the weekend at least.

Funny, all my winning bets seem to be with Boyles lately.

Lovely. Derry play with 10 men for an hour and still win 1-0.
