Dont give them a bell !!
The club wont get any money from the sales that way .... what is the point in that.
i sent O'Neills an email asking if they had any intention of putting the city shirts up on their website for sale.
I suggest others do the like,
as it would be very benificial for exiles
to get a hold of shirts, especially the new away one.
what do you all think?
p.s. their site is pretty cool.
here you go,

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
tuff luck club.

''what is the point in that.''
to make it easier for people to get a hold of shirts.
anyway so what if the club dont make money off em?
what do you want me to do, give em money for nothing?

Look lads, its a well known fact the the club have always been bad in maximising merchandising potential. Take the state of the "Club Shop" as a perfect example of this.
Its an area that has been discussed to death in post match discussions in the Beer Garden.
If O'Neills want to sell the jerseys on the web then fair play to them but they obviously don't want to do it yet cause City ain't in the Soccer Section.
But the club should get their act togther on this, there is money to be made.
Even if they could ask for a page on the PROC website, they could sell a fortune of jersies.

This is probably another reason why we should be meeting with the club pre season .... to make sure that even if they dont employ these ideas, at least they are aware of them and have the chance to turn down the option of doing it.
Kinda on the same topic ..... Where is the new commercial manager we are meant to be getting ??

This from the guy is ALWAYS in first to sling the sh!t when things aren't going our way ..... talk of giving up supporting the club, the premiership is way better etc.
And now you come out with some like this ...... Are we to leave it go on the understanding that you didn't understand or think it through in any great detail.
Or tell us .... is that where you actually stand on the whole matter ??![]()

get a room lads....
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
Personally i wouldn't buy anything off the site as when i clicked on the link above all prices were in Sterling.I'm sure it was only a matter of clicking something to change this but **** that. They can stick their sterling. What Longford Town did which was a huge success for them was they opened a club shop selling all the merchandise in the shopping centre in Longford for the month of December.Like i said, this was a huge success. Now everyone is going around with Jackets,Jerseys and the rest which is great to see because not so long ago they were all wearing Utd and Liverpool gear. This is surely a good omen for the future.

I agree .... great idea ..... i would prefer that the club benifit from it over O'Neills ... you CAN see the logic there !?!?!why not have the City shirt up on the site for exiles and in fact everyone else to see...
I beg to differ .... i actually think you are twisting what i was trying to say !!!!A face..you are well out of order AGAIN twisting what that guy has said in this thread.I honestly dont know what it is with you...

RedX .... seriously ... I only want to give the other side of the coin, pardon the pun. And i didn't jump down his throat ... the "Dont give them a bell" was merely trying to deter people from "Giving them a bell" .... granted it was big in size, to be seen. (I have changed it now)
Hey ... it worked ... it was debated ... people thought about it, job done !!
Anyway ..... Point taken !! Fair play

i think a face is right, the club needs the money so that we can get players and develop the ground. who cares if o'neils make a profit or not as long as the club do.
