Pretty standard practice to plug related programmes on most TV channel, don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that those interested in watching the football on Monday might also like to watch football on Saturday night. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure at the end of "Premier Soccer Saturday"

there's a screen advertising the next week's MNS. (Of course, whether PSS should be on RTE in the first place is a different story

I like the new gantry in The Showgrounds, looks better on television. Couldn't beleive the referee didnt spot Mansaram's handball, could've been gone being already a yellow card on the night for slamming the ball on the ground.
