Carty snubs Dundalk to join Kildare

Striker Keith Carty, who scored eight goals in eleven games for Dundalk at the end of last season, has turned down a new contract at the Oriel Park club to join First Division rivals Kildare Couny in a move that is sure to infuriate the fans of the border town side.

Sligo native Carty became a real favourite at Oriel since joining from Monaghan United before the transfer deadline last August.
