Here is the web address of a place to stay in Zürich if anyone is interested. It is well cheap compared to other places and they do a good slap up of food too. Its also right in the centre of everything....

[QUOTE=NeilMcD]I must say i was happy with that pizza bar, or as it is now called the italian, bar.
Hey I was happy with it too, and the pizza's were the biz, and it were'nt pricey but I was in there after the game so it was'nt quite rocking as it might have been before the game, but nice place it was though.
Its crazy to see people be what society wants them to be but not me.

Bless em.... so ive gone from booking a ticket through ticketcorner for the swiss end, just incase my original application for tickets through the FAI came to nothing.... To being told by the FAI that only block bookers were getting tickets and being quite glad that i had a ticket in the swiss end..... To now be told that some additional tickets have become available.![]()
From that im thinking... and this might be way off the mark but... The swiss FA have realised that a lot of irish have booked through ticketcorner and they have just put the FAI allocation and where the marjority of tickets have been booked to people outside of switzerland together...hence additional tickets for the FAI??
oh well might be wrong... but im goingand it seems that there will be some spare tickets too

When on http://www.rail.ch/index_e.htm go to the section called Click and rail. Here you can buy tickets online for a fraction of the price but you can only purchase 2 days before you intend to use the ticket. Just follow the instructions. did it last year travelling from Geneva to Basel and it worked fine.
Thanks JohnN, looks like you can't go from Zurich to Basel though..Originally Posted by JohnN
