Just to let people know the swiss fa have announced that the tickets for the Ireland game are been sold as part of a package with the FAroe Ireland game so you have to buy for both to get ticket in the swiss end. They will then release the remaining tickets for each game if there is any on a one game basis. Not sure about dates yet

The demand for tickets for this years Swiss match isn’t going to be as high as last years because:

    1. The game is on a Wednesday Night so a lot of people wont be able to get the time off work or whatever.

    2. The result of the match, although very important, does not hold the significance as last years make or break result.

On another note 4 of us ended up sitting in the Swiss end and although it got annoying when they were singing about “hot sweets” there wasn’t any problem or trouble between us when we broke into song, which was quite regularly.

    Agadoo

I remember the agadoo thing too. it was really really annoying.

Unfortunately I can't go this year to basle, (getting married) but The pair of us will be in Paris.

I think we should start a motion to....

If ireland get revenge this year, the irish fans should sing a round of Agadoo ...the Swiss will understand that we have had our revenge when they hear it.

Hi Guys, well I live in Basel, so if you need any help for the transfer from the airport to the city, or the transfer from zhe airport zurich, than you could ask me. I also know some cheap hotels in the town, so if you need informations or help I can help you.

    Cheers AlFayed

So does that mean that you are a Swiss national? The only reason I ask is because you were on another thread enquiring about the best place to stay in Paris for our game against France as you were going to come along and support us. It's just that if you were a Swiss national I'd find the idea of you supporting us in a group involving your own country a little odd....to say the least of it.

well, I live in switzerland, but in my holidays I often go to ireland. The people in switzerland are not very kind. The people in Ireland are very friendly... And I like Dublin and the country-side. So yes, I`m swiss, but after studying I will go to Ireland and search a job.

Well if you're at the game against your native Switzerland in September and are supporting us I hope for your sake you end up in the Irish end of the ground. I doubt if the Swiss supporters would take too kindly to one of their own supporting the opposition.

Are your players as agadoo-traumatized as the supporters? Maybe we should play it BEFORE the game then.

taht picture is something different... our club manager bought a player from zurich, and we hate the zurich peoples, and this player is the biggest ******* on earth... one year ago he burned a scarf from our club, and this summer we bought him! we hate him! we don`t want him! it`s a long story... well, in switzerland nobody cares if I support the swiss team or the irish team, and my friend have accepted that I support the irish team... that`s all... at the game in Basel this september I can`t comme to the game, because I have to study in another part of switzerland... ****! but I can support the irish team in october in Paris...

I'm sure Paris is much closer than Basel from that "other part of Switzerland".

It looks after all that Ticketcorner is not selling the package over the internet. You will have to call (+41 900 800 800). From Switzerland it costs CHF 1.19 per minute. They say waiting time will be 15 to 20 minutes.
