Radisson had a great deal too but they cancelled it apparently when they realsied people were booking for the match.
we booked in the radisson back in feb and it worked out in a twin room €45 pp per night . They sold out pretty soon cause 747 and ray treacy booked a lot of rooms
here
http://www.rglhosting.com/fai/registrationsaway.htm
there is a page to register for tickets 22 euro each
It was available up until last week - a friend had a booking confirmation and I got one too but then got another "correction". Only the dear rooms are available now. Think they only just discovered the match was on. My mate is going to brazen it out as he has a confirmed booking.Originally Posted by only1kilbane
Anyway far too much luxury given the kips I've stayed in following us away.
Im sure we can deal with the luxury. Stayed there for the last game in basel and is so handy where it is just right beside paddy reillys. Less than 2 months now for revenge bring it on !

Does anyone think it should be a problem getting tickets through the fai for this game. Applied last week but can get tickets for the swiss end but dont wanna get them if the fai is gonna be ok. Really dont want to have to sit with a bunch of freaks singing agadoo again !
I don't see Irish tickkets being too big of a problem.Originally Posted by only1kilbane

Right im thinking of going to this match afterall, even tho ive got to hand my thesis in only a couple of days later...
How likely is it for me to be able to get tickets ? Also apparently much of the accomadation in Basle has gone, is anyone else thinking of staying in Zürick its about an hour away and has got cheap flights to and from Luton (thats Luton proper not a part of Glasgow ) (about £55 return).
As for trains well its its about an hour between the two cities and 2 to 3 trains per/hour, and the last train back to Basel leaves at seven mins past midnight... that should be ok shouldnt it ?
As for costs well its £107 for 4 days travel on any bus, subway, train or boat travel in Switzerland, but I think it will be cheaper to get a return train ticket (60 Swiss Francs, about £30 i think.)
I'm thinking of flying to Baden-Baden in Germany and getting the train, train fares in Germany are a lot cheaper than Switzerland.
And Basel is only 1.5 hours away from BB.
what kind of price are you looking at for that route?Originally Posted by Condex

Machine translation below
The two first qualification plays of Swiss national team for the world
championship 2006 in Germany find to 4. September 2004 at 17.30 o'clock against the Faeroeer islands and to 8. September 2004 at 20.30 o'clock against Ireland in the St. Jakob park in Basel instead of. The advance booking at all Ticketcorner sales offices and over Tel. 0900 800,800 begins for both plays to 30. July. The SFV assumes that, that the interest in the play against Ireland will be larger than
against the Faeroeer islands. Therefore it decided to the following Vorverkaufsprozedere:
Around that prospective customer, which in both plays are interested, to guarantee on the one hand with security a place for the Ireland
play and on the other hand also the possibility, to pursue both meetings on the same seat, arrive up to Sunday, 8. August, only tickets in the package for both plays into the sales.
Starting from 9. Then also those prospective customers the possibility for the ticket
purchase have August, which only one of the two portions to regard want.
The prices lie for the play against the Faeroeer islands between 20
and 60 Franconias. Young persons until 16 years pay 5 Franconias behind the gates.
For the play against Ireland tickets are available in price categories
between 30 and 100 Franconias. Young persons until 16 years pay 15 Franconias behind the gates.
Against the Faeroeer Switzerland began so far twice in the
qualification for the WM 2002 and won both meetings (1:0 and 5:0).
Against Ireland the balance sees despite the two recent victories in
the qualification for the EURO 2004 with five victories, one undecided and seven defeats (9:16 gates) still negatively out
Which means (for those who don't have enough imagination) that from July 30 to August 8 one can only buy tickets for BOTH games, from August 9 on for each game individually.
