    Directions to ground

    Hi,

In laymans terms can you give directions to the Bowl coming from the West please.
I presume its best to go down the M50 rather than travelling into Dublin and then out the N11?

    Thanks.

    Yes, infinite times better.

Take the Balinteer, Dundrum and Sandyford (I think) exit off the M50. It's exit 13 anyway. When you come to the roundabout at the end of the off-ramp go straight. You'll now be on a road parallel to the M50.

You'll come to another roundabout after about a mile- take a left. It's a straight line all the way from here, about 2.5miles though. You should pass the Beacon Hospital on your right so if you see that you know you're on the right road. The Goat pub on your left further on is another landmark.

When you pass a mosque on your right, a bit less than a mile after the Goat (and just after a set of lights) you're close to the turning for UCD. Go through the next set of lights then you will see an AIB up ahead on the right hand side. Turn into the road right beside (literally right beside it, there's two turns you can take) and you'll be in UCD. Go left when you come to the roundabout, follow the road and you will be at the Bowl.

You can park immediately to your left just after the roundabout or you can follow the road, go right and there is a car park a bit nearer to the ground.
