Fair dues to the Cork league for the amount of coverage they are getting for the women's game, at least once a week there is a full page in the evening echo and a lot of the time the evening echo has a page twice a week, considering most people in Cork read the echo that is very positive for the game and now it seems they are getting radio coverage too......

Is this normal do other league get the same or more or less coverage?
The Wexford League get a full page on both local papers during the Winter season and are the envy of the leagues in the county. Mens league only get two pages despite being one of the biggest in the country while the schoolboys do well to get half a page.
Coverage of the womens game is great most parts of the country for local leagues, its at National level the big problems are. While it is slowly improving, it still has not reached even near an acceptable level
Well done to the Cork League, I know they work hard to get the womens game well covered down there and its obviously working, well done to all involved
Most clubs seem to be promoting the Ladies game locally but it is a pity that there is not more done in the national tabloids.The coverage for the womens senior cup final was terrible .
