Can anyone confirm that Calla and Donnelly have left the club? If so Scully's man -managment has to be seriously questioned.

Yup i heard this last night too. Donnelly was dropped for the Finn Harps match after the shocker against Fingal so left (if this is the case then good riddance) and i heard O Callaghan is going over to England or someting along those lines (I wonder if this actually has anything to do with the fact he was pictured in the local playing for Claughaun. Can't see Scully being too happy with him playing GAA too unless he was allowed).

pretty bang on there. whats sickening is that Scully backed the wrong horse Calla/Dano...Donnelly was signed in to replace the injured wunch. At that stage we then had Cala, Dano, Purcell and Donnelly for center half..midfielders were all injured and strikers so cover needed there so a center half had to go...

Lads I was informed of this post from a friend of mine who was checking the Limerick site and I just want to let you know what actually happened. I did not leave because I was dropped that is not the reason and I would appreciate it if them rumours where stopped. I have a good job in the Bank and the travelling down to Limerick on the Friday night's to play the games was just killing me. I felt that I was not doing myself justice and more importantly the club any justice in travelling down and been shattered playing the game and hence having a nightmare (Sporting Fingal, took me 3.5hrs to drive that Friday and I was poor) and that is the reason I have finished up with Limerick. I spoke to the people in charge and informed them of my reasons and thanked them for the opportunity which unfortunately hasn't worked out. I deserved to be dropped for the Finn Harps game but like any player they are never going to be happy if they are not playing but just let me confirm 100% that was not my reason for leaving. I would like to Thank the club for the opportunity and wish you all the best in the future, because there are some good people running the club. I hope this clears things up in some way. Niall Donnelly.(I will not be on this Site again)
