The judge sai that the license couldn't be a condition of the takeover, but you can guarantee that the fai gave them the nod for the premier license if the takeover goes through

The new owners contacted the judge to say it was dependent on the license received. She said that there was to be no conditions attached to takeover

FAI could now call their bluff by not awarding them the license (but of course they'll just allow them in…)

Expand the premier from next season!

If Cork gets a Premier Licence then other clubs should come together and take some form of action. The awarding of a Licence will be totally unacceptable.

The clubs don't have the bottle to band together like that as they know it could be <insert any club here> next year / next month / next week

A more effective form of action could be if the fans of all the other clubs don't travel to Cork for away games, hit them where it hurts on the balance sheet

The High Court judge has lifted the winding up order and the club is now owned by the consortium.

Im sure the loss of all 14 Bray fans that travel to the cross will see the club go to the wall for certain this time.

A stay has been put on the winding up order until 2pm tomorrow according to newstalk. The debts have to be cleared by then.

Highlighted this especially for redgav, now do you see how petty your post looks?
