The consortium have set a deadline of 12 pm tomorrow for a decision on whether to proceed according to extratime.
Apparently it's looking increasingly unlikely and there's even doubts whether TNB has proper title to the shares not to mention shady promises being made to secure loans. I think they'll have to walk away.

I'm not getting my hopes up yet... I still think the FAI will find some way of not following their own rules with this...

They won't give Tom a licence much and all as they want Cork. They declared war on each other some time ago there is no way Delaney's ego would allow Tom get the better if him. If the takeover doesn't go ahead it's FORAS on the
    First.

If this takeover doesn't go through,no chance. Even the FAI won't be able to fudge it this time.

Quintas ready to pull plug on takeover
    Thursday, 18 February 2010 19:41

Quintas has stated that the deal to takeover Cork City is unlikely to go through, plunging the club's future into doubt once again.

The consortium, comprising of Peter Gray, Michael O'Connell and FORAS, the Cork City Supporters Trust, have set a deadline of noon on Friday finalise the offer.

    There is no "consortium" website.
FORAS had put one together for the PlanB option to meet the requirement for licencing.
After the adjournment Monday it was taken back to just a 'coming soon' page.
The webmaster will be delighted you thought it was lovely though

Should change it to 'coming sooner than you think'

As they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity - Tommy will get a seat on the UEFA Executive (running the committee for European competition licences) meanwhile the Rod will be brought on board as International Ambassador for Ethics and Fair Play.

Did anyone listen to OTB on Newstalk tonight? I was training and didn't get to hear it all, but my Dad said Roddy was "subdued" - he didn't specify if it was with chains and a gimp outfit though.

edit: Just wondering aloud, is this quintas and co statement just another ridiculous attempt at brinkmanship - trying to get one up on Tom? Seems like a case of dumb and dumber.

Speaking for myself - things have long since moved on from Roddy & Malta, in relation to CorkCity.

I couldn't give a flying feck about Roddy or anything Malta.

Could you post about them and you in a separate thread of your own please?

No,coming soon to a league near you. Foras will be lonely in the 1st Div without Bray this year. Not to worry as I'm sure that they will be back down with us at the end of next season.Who knows even Pats might decide to join us. After all your manager is an expert in relagation issues

If a licence is handed out to CCFC, and they get permission to start in the PL, first up there's the decision on what to do with the manager, and regardless there's a UEFA ban hanging over the club. So it kind of is important, though I agree as this time tomorrow there could be no Cork City. There are more important things to worry about, hopefully it'll all be clear at 12pm tomorrow.

More than likely to explain why they've had to pull out I would think. Don't see it being salvaged by 12 tomorrow when he hasn't co-operated all week. He doesn't care if the club goes bust he's put nothing in by the looks of it.
