Leinster Senior League by stealth![]()
Kom Igen, FCK...
its just the FAI's latest attempt to get rid of the pro Dublin bias clearly displayed by all the referees.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
So first of all Cork are run by Coughlan a failed politician and now they are to be run by a failed AIB banker. Could ye not just get a former inmate from Spike Island to run ye?
Aon, dó, trí, bhí mé i mo luí, thit mé den leaba, he! he! he!
Why is this thread still going strong?
Cork arn't getting relegated, theres been no news of it.
They've payed all their due's, payed the players back etc.
Clean slate for them, why would they be relegated?
According to Stephen McGuinness they have been paid. Certainly up to November 12 - there is one date left isn't there?
pfai news
Hunky Dorys Park - could be worse, we could be going to Old Trafford every other week
What makes you say that? Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the system. The mechanisms that are in place work perfectly and give a completely accurate picture of what is happening with the clubs books. And anyway, butter wouldn't melt in Tom Coughlans mouth, he is as pure as the driven snow, the FAI have their eye on the ball, Cork City wont have made the headlines once in the 2010 season before the first five games have been played. The club will still exist after the sixth game. Everything is grand.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
What are you on about ? your part of the commuter belt and are very close to Dublin as are we . It takes me between 15 and 20 mins to get to dundalk from Drogheda . I live on the north side of Drogheda and get to monasterboice in about 2 minsAs far as the point the original post was making about the spread of clubs in the Leauge being all very close , we will be .Suits me tbh less traveling

Players may be paid up to date, and that might have been newsworthy enough for the PFAI to release a statement, but there's a long line of boxes to be checked before CCIFL has "payed all their dues", Tom might want to consult with his staff and creditors before he repeats that line on national TV.
Frankly, I'm sick of the widely held notion that there mustn't be any problems once players are paid up, couldn't be further from the truth.
