Managers without full UEFA licences have managed in UEFA competitions before. Just this year, Markus Babbel was manager of Stuttgart in the CL, even though he's still not fully qualified.

Good luck to the Cork lads in the first division. Its gonna be fairly tight at the top there with Cork, Derry and Shels pushing for promotion.
I'm sure there will be a flurry of activity over the coming couple of weeks and a decent squad can be assembled. Remember also that the old Cork City will in all probability not exist soon and the players tied to that club will become free agents. I just hope Cork City Foras Co-op steer clear of Roddy!
Don't know about the new Cork team challenging this season. Surely Foras will be starting on a very modest budget and building on that every year like all the other clubs in the league that are trying to do things right are doing. They will assemble a decent team but with the time left to get players, a manager and sort out everything else that needs to be done i can't see them challenging Waterford Utd or Derry, both of whom i think look the best so far. Monaghan, Limerick, Athlone, Longford looking decent outside of that.
well be a mid table side this season - very small budget - think its in and around 2k a week from what i can remember
I have no idea how that compares to other clubs in the first
Positives: Two trips to Galway in the summer, two trips to Derry, trips to Donegal, Athlone,
the legendary Mon Dogs
3 grudge games against the Sheliban
Munster Derbies against Limerick and Waterford
Oh, and we own our own club
plenty of opportunities to say - "I'm never going back there again" before inevitably going back there again - we call this the RSC effect, also commonly seen among fans leaving United Park
Was pointed last week that it may have been that the licence decision couldn't have been made due to
legal proceedings. Seems that was the case.
Well done to committee. Justice done it would appear
The FORAS committe have done Trojan work so far and I hope they continue in that way. Good luck to them (whatever the name)

The Premier League will be a Leinster / Connacht affair as there will be no clubs from Ulster or Munster in it. Shocking really.
Nobody knows us, we don't care
We're operating off about 2.5k per week but I guess we had more time to plan. I would think certainly the First Division average is under 3 per week but it may be the lack of time that counts against them initially.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Cork would also have access to a decent pool of players though.

Delighted the right decision was made. Hand on heart I was expecting Cork to get the Prem license, thought the FAI would bottle it for sure but this humble pie is delicious.
Bray Wanderers: So good they were relegated twice (and still stayed up).
Stunned.
This whole sorry saga will live long in my memory unfortunately but at least now i can get back to hating Cork, or as i shall call them from now on Coco pops FC
They always cheat, they always lie
