Feel sorry for Bray's fans, players and officials if they are on the road already to Cork- hope they haven't travelled far.
Who Cares?!
Coughlan must of seriously ****ed off the Revenue commisioners I would of expected them to broker a deal especially after the announcement of the Celtic game
Thanks a lot Tom Coughlan. Rot in hell.
So can Bray refuse to play the game tonight?
The problem in my opinion was that they would have been in the same sh*te in 2 months time.
Only another 9 titles till Drogheda become pride of county louth!!!
any news from people in court what the revenues final rationale was (did they have to give one?
A sad day to see any club go like this, even if you feel, as I do, that it might be best in the long run.
I have nothing but sympathy for all the Cork fans out there who are losing their club. As a Limerick fan I had to contemplate this a few weeks ago (and maybe again before long) and I hope that FORAS (or whoever) can start the process of setting up a new club as soon as possible.
It will cost us a fair few quid to travel down, hotels, food etc... and for what ? nothing.
It is a horrible day for County Cork, Cork City FC and the supporters for Cork City but the club is now gone, Tonight's match means nothing in terms of League points, yet we will still be out of pocket.
We are working off the smallest budgest in the League, a squad down to the bear bones and we are travelling 5 hours to play a match that means nothing to us and cannot help us in any way to survive and stay in the Premier Division.

Tough day to be a Cork fan.
My sympathies, and looking forward to seeing a new, community based Cork City in the premier in 3 years time.
Best of luck.
A patriot is someone who knows how to hate his country properly.
In fairness though,if they had not folded you would have been automatically relegated IMO,at least from a relegation point of view you have a far better chance of surviving,so on a day were the people of Cork have lost the club they love, its a bit rich for a Bray fan to be whingeing
Only another 9 titles till Drogheda become pride of county louth!!!
Bray should lose on purpose so they don't lose the points in 21 days
Bad day for Irish football, pity that such a big club have to go to like this.
If the Celtic game is guaranteed, and this Coughlan guy apparently has the money, why isn't he giving the club a short term loan which he can then pay himself back with from the Celtic proceeds?? Doesn't sound like much of a business man to me......
