2nd and 3rd. Could be worse.

Yeah he didn't do himself any favours there alright, if it had gone on for another 50 yards he'd have won it. On Glenstal Abbey in the 4.20.

I'm getting all the 2nd places today.

The last race makes me really confident though that Deutschland will get the job done as Mullins is in great form this week and didn't actually fancy Dual Gales to win.

Was toying with backing Dual Gales but all the money seemed to be going on Glenstal Abbey, wasn't even going to back that race initially. Oh well at least I had only a small amount on so I got my money back. Deutschland is where my hopes are now too.

    Mullins is very confident.

I've doubled my stake to try and claw back some of my losses so far today.

Looks like we're all waiting for Deutschland! Dual Gales came in for me, will have had a good day if Mr Walsh delivers in the 5.00.

I think that's 4 seconds I've had today. Could be worse I suppose. Slightly down overall though.

    Sorry for the aftertiming but.....

My friend got a tip of his dad earlier in the week. He couldn't remember the name but he thought it started with "Bal" so I presumed it was ballyholland in the galway plate and stuck €5ew on him. Turned out it wasn't that horse but Bahrain Storm, so I put €5ew on him too.

Just to round off the day I've put a few quid on No One Tells Me in the 5.40 and Buoy George in the 6.15. If neither of these win it'll have been a disappointing day overall.

I thought Mc Coy should have kicked on with Glenstal Abbey instead of waiting anyhow 2 short price losers for me

Dunno. I went e/w on all them but the one's that placed were under 4/1 so made a small bit of a loss on each of them.

Was at the races Wednesday and Thursday, only collected twice in 2 days, both on Thursday. Slieve Mish and Articulitis dug me out of a big hole, and ended up with me making a profit!

    Today I've done..

    5.10 Media Queen 9/2
    6.50 Drunken Sailor 9/2

Done an e/w double on these, confident of 2 wins though.

Have Drunken sailor & Cool athlete (7.55) myself.

Cool athlete looked decent in dundalk a few weeks ago. Not sure about ground but at least has been consistent (bad) in all conditions up to that.

about 50-1 on current BF prices - obviously subject to change

Drunken Sailor wins, Media Queen given a shocking ride, ended up 6th. Sickened.
