there all really well designed IMO, not just plain old bowls. but rosenbergs stadium is a lovely ground. i remember watching them back in the early 90's against blackburn the first year they got into the champions league and most of the ground was just grass embankments. look at it now.
Lovely stadia.
Maby will see this here someday
Whats the point of the thread? I could show you some stadims from countrys all over the world that are much better than what we have here.

Very true. Some of these are too big and would end up half empty most of the time. I think it's a matter of getting the balance right. People want better facilities but swathes of empty seats isn't conducive to atmosphere.
Personally, I like the ideas put forward by Rovers in the Vllaznia home leg programme. This would lead to a total of approximately 4,000 good quality seats after the demolition of the existing Jinks stand. This is enough to try to fill in this league for 90% of clubs.
to remind ya what a kip tolka really is.
The stadia of an economically similar country with a similar inexplicable infatuation with the EPL and no serious European lights.Originally Posted by Hairy_Bowsie

Simple answer, their crowds are better. If we had similar crowds, we'd have similar stadiums but of course this is so obvious it almost goes without saying until now but LoI fans love to remind themselves of how bad their plight is.
LoI fans love the martyr status that being a LoI fan is. Hence threads like this and complaints when teletext get a score wrong etc. If we got the crowds like they did in Norway half the moany f*cks on here would no longer go to LoI games, claiming some nonsense of being pushed out and reminding anyone who'd listen, that they went before their respective team was popular.

More stadium porn. It's harmless - I'm just looking at them. Turners Cross, I swear to you, I would never cheat on you - EVER.

Do Aalesund have an artificial pitch in those photos? I wonder do all the other Norwegian clubs blame anything less than a win against them on that?
we are nowhere near the same as norway economically. They take advantage of their oil and gas (unlike us), arent stricken with eu quotas on fishing, their farmers produce for their country creating jobs and self sufficiency. they have booming tourism, forestry, construction and they did it all without hand outs from the EU. so we are nowhere near them economically.
There is no reason why we shouldnt have decent stadiums in this country though.
It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up.

countries like macedonia have better stadiums than us ffs.

We have similar GDPs, but the main difference is that Norway spend their money on public services, job creation and wise investments, whereas we spend ours on electronic voting machines and private jets for ministers.
