If the objection is about the regrading of players then the clubs involved should know before they play the players, how many Limerick teams have LOI players maybe 2 or 3, thats not a lot and surely the LDMC (who would know these things) and the said 2/3 teams would be on top of things its not like the EX players are with loads of different clubs.

Blaming the LDMC is rubbish. Any club with serious hopes of winning the FAI should have checked their own paperwork. Any organisation can make mistakes including the FAI so it's up to every club to have copies of all the required paperwork.
I feel St Michales are getting a lot of help from people in the FAI leading me to believe the FAI will see Pike out of the competition whether Saints objection holds up or not.

So the FAI Cup will be concluded about June, 2012 then? :P And what happens with the FAI Senior cup? I'd assume the teams Pike/Fairview were due to play will get automatic walkovers?

IMO if any club enter a competition with an illegal team , and then are allowed to progress unchecked ,it degrades that competition.
One of two things will happen here ,1, Pike and/or Fairview will be cleared of wrongdoing and thus upholding their reputation
2, any of the clubs found guilty will be in disgrace for attempting to to win competition by cheating.
Any objection and due enquiry surely upholds the good name of the competition by ensuring that cheating cannot flourish.
All clubs must be assured they can enter cup in good faith.

I'd hardly call it cheating on either teams part in all fairness.

Im not blaming the LDMC if thats what you mean. I am saying the LDMC would be the people in the know about these things so the 2/3 clubs (from Limerick ) who have these players should of sough the advice before they played the players.

Its still an amateur competition and teams will make the mistakes. I dont think Pike tried to seek an unfair advantage by playing these players as they would of though they were fine. Getting knocked out because of paperwork from an amateur competition will be hard to take.

Pike DID do the same to Clonmel Town a few years back for playing a player who had played at Loi level and wasn't clear to play in the competition. As I said earlier Town were disqualified with no option of appeal. If Pike havem committed an offence then Tough SŁ&t IMO.

from what I hear if Connie hadnt giving the finger jesture none of the objections would have been lodged. it seems St Michaels took offense to this and rightly so, you reap what you sow imo, hope Pike get thrown out and regional win the cup because I cant see fairview beating Regional

maybe they are the only ones who know the rules or as redcardrory says they have the fai in there pocket so they probably told them they had case for an objection,i'm not so sure its sour grapes to be honest,I'm sure when clonmel town got thrown out against pike a few years back all the pike crew thought they got there just deserts for breaking the rules, why should the situation be different now?

Lads was a complete neutral at the match very close to the st michaels dugout, it was a great advertisement for soccer but to here all the false statements dished out on this site is mis leading people that werent at the match, there was some shouting coming from both dugouts the language coming from the st michaels dugouts i will accept because it was a big match and sometimes managers and subs get carried away, not a any stage of the match did the manager of pike rovers stick hes fingers up,i think he over reacted when he ran on to the field and should have got a card at least a yellow because he was so far on the pitch at times i thought he was playing. Im hoping someone on this site can answer the Question is it true st michaels player got man of the match and who picked man of the match, when are the objections been heard and how many objections are in, and have st michaels any connections in the fai that will favour there case.
