How am I moving attention from myself? What the hell have I got to do with any of this? What I was saying is that the senior council of the FAI are annoyed that there are so many recent ex LOI players in Pikes squad and this could be why they have come down so heavy on them.

some of the posts on this thread are now bordering on the ridiculous and while everyone with limerick connections is disappointed at pikes explusion from the competition a theme seems to be emerging where its :not pikes fault:...it was fairviews and regionals first coz they tipped off st.micheals....oops no its actually the ldmc who are to blame......nope wrong again its those micheals fella,s for having the brass neck to object.....hang on its not their fault either its that scout fella who knows a petshop fella who knows a butcher fella,sorry wrong again you forgot the boro lad and that ex saint now with fairview its their fault for sure.....nope afraid not, its the fai their the real culprits......are.n they?......well its certainly not pikes fault.i,i had fingers crossed for pike but now after reading that lot i could,nt give a toss.

How do you know that everyone that has been posting stuf on this thread are pike rovers.

the thread has desended into chaos,any logic on opinionated discussion ended long ago ,we have had posters actually name people allegedly involved in the whole senario without any source or backup ,this is grossly unfair and it beggers belief these posters have,n been banned and the dignity of the thread protected.close it now.

good post fairkop,agree totally ,the whole thing is a shambles.the beauty is gone out of the F.A.I junior cup.if you ask me any team who gets beaten just go looking for a way to get a replay.its a joke.the biggest joke of all is this jumping from senior soccer back to junior soccer and lads being eligeble or not again to play junior etc.I personally think that 2 things should happen.

1-if a player leaves a league of ireland team he should get a dated letter sign by the team secretary dating his release and should have to wait 12 mths before he can again playe junior soccer.

2- a player should have to serve no period in the wilderness and should be allowed to sign juior immediately after receiving a release letter from senior club.

both those points as far as im concerned are fairly crystal clear.time for all this nonsense to stop.its a complete farce.being honest if i was a club manager id stear totally clear of sign ex senior players. seem to cause nothing but technical glitches and hassle for all involved.
