Well based on Fairviews league games so far getting out of town will be a problem. From the league table it looks like ye are the 5th best team in Limerick.

So by that reckoning Aston Villa are the fifth best side in England? Better than Arsenal? You just made a ridiculous comment. Most people in junior football will say that getting out of town is based on luck of the draw as much as how good you are. Would you say that Fairview won't get out of town?

They will struggle yes, does it depend on the draw yes. Are Villa better than Arsenal no. Are Fairview the team you think they are? Far from it. Too many new players, players who are past it and a manager who can't motivate his team, this is why fairview won't win anything. Are you comparing Arsenal to Fairview? Well in your world anything is possible going on your previous post history. League is almost a 1/3 the way through and ye are well off the pace. Pike will barely drop points never mind enough for Fairview to catch up as that would mean ye would have to beat them which is a long shot. MJC is Fairviews only realistic chance at Silverware IMO exc the Touhy , ye can have that

    Kerry/Clare/Desmond

    Lisselton Rovers vs Tralee Celtic

This game is on 2m nite. Lisselton are last years 1/4 finalist but still have yet to assemble there team from last year and have a few injuries.
Tralee Celtic have got off to a great start in Kerry winning all their games to date so i think this could be a big upset.

    My Prediction

    Lisselton 1-2 Tralee Celtic

Lads, heres one for the books, We play in the FAI Cup this weekend, we have B-team players on the panal for the game but LDMC give our B-team a fixture the same day. If i am correct the FAI is a cup is cup in which a club enters 1 team, yes?. We inform LDMC that both A and B-team players are involved in FAI game but we are told that the B-team must fulfil their fixture. Just wondering what your opinion on this is.

Are they right in telling us that both games should be played or should they have cancelled B-team game?
If you're in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options later

Ye should be given the choice to have a B team game or not. FAI is the full club representation and B team players are entitled to play.

In the CL we are given the choice. Fixtures Sec called us 2 weeks ago and asked us and we asked for B team game to be played. Would have been nice if it was not the same time as the FAI game though so we could go and watch it.

Corbally were fixed for b and c games but had these called off over the A's being in the FAI

I.m sorry smelly feet but your league have a point. Ordinarily you play two games every weekend I assume? Therefore you have say 30 players registered? If you are missing a couple of 1st teamers and need to draft in a couple of B lads then it is probably just hard luck storey. I have sympathy for your plight. I am sure there are clubs on here who have two and three teams playing this sunday clashing with the FAI game. In our league (CCFL), we are allowed a couple of free weekends if we give the league fixture Sec a two week notice. Most FAI games at this stage are three and more weeks known so if we felt we were short on players or had a mouth watering tie the B lads would like to travel away to we would and have done looked for free weeks. Think we can get two but have probably stretched that to three.

Fair enough, BUT, Just say your team uses B-team players and the team goes on to the 4th maybe 5th round or even on to win, do you just drop B-team playes because you have used up to many free weekends?, I thought from past years that if a club was involved in FAI that only 1 fixture was made and that being an FAI one.
