How did Mervue play last night, are they looking like they are getting back on track or were ye just wasteful up front?
Preview online now.
They've lost their last five on an aggregate score of 21-2, and that's against mostly bottom half teams (Kildare, Longford, Monaghan, Harps and Shels). Our home record's poor, but would be confident of a win anyway, although probably not by teh same margin as those other games.

After reading the report on RTE I think I got the idea of the match http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2009/...cd_mervue.html
but worryingly UCD failed to convert any of the other 22 attempts they had on goal.
That does not give a proper reflection of the game.
We were brutal, Mervue were worse. Well over half those chances were long range efforts that were not even close or similar free kicks, though not as bad. We created only four clear cut chances (one been the goal) and had one long-ish range effort go narrowly wide. We had lots of the ball but rarely looked anywhere near threatening.

Video of the game:
It's my first attempt at video editing so any tips are more than welcome.
If anyone still cares about an extra 50 people in the crowd, they can try to count from this maybe.![]()

Looks a good job, cheers.
I think you can download the video off Youtube and play it on RealPlayer; means you can blow it up to full screen. Much easier to see.
The screen on youtube.com itself is bigger than here so it's easier to see there. Click on the video up there to open it up in youtube.com. There's a full-screen option there too.
