    Cois Fharraige?

Does anybody know if Cois Fharraige is going ahead this year? I know that MCD applied for the licence a while ago and I believe that some of the local businesses were saying that they would provide sponsorship, but there hasn't yet even been any announcement of it going ahead. We're nearly into August and considering it normally takes place in the 1st or 2nd week of September, surely it's at the point now that if it's going ahead it will have to be announced very soon. Any info?

I'm nearly sure that I heard a while back that it's not going ahead this year due to financial constraints but I'm open to correction.
And you ask me to help you??!! Man is evil!!!! Capable of nothing but destruction!

I heard it wasn't going ahead, but that was only word of mouth. That it hasn't announced itself by now probably means that it isn't though

MCD have announced that this is going ahead. Not all the bands have been named but among the ones which have are, Doves, The Hold Steady, The Lightning Seeds, The Stereo Mc's and The Zutons. I for one, will definitely be going.

Will definately have to make my way to Kilkee for this. It was excellent last year and i didn't even go to the concert, the whole town was buzzin. Some craic. Hopefully now i don't have a match that Sunday morning .

Was a great weekend. Last year was better though as far as the attitude of people around. Everyone seemed to use the street as a dumpsite this year and people where just falling over rubbish and bottles up and down the street which took away from it a bit. Barr that though it was great. The weather really topped it off.
