Lads why do we get dogged down that an idea of an AIL is the only way to go. No disrespect to the IL, their teams or their supporters but why would both nations and both associations want to dilute ours & their national identity in an wet dream that all the footballing problems that we encounter will be sorted because Linfield & Glentoran are in a revamped loi.
Welsh and Scots don't pipe on about an all british league less the english clubs and Celtic/Rangers trying to join the premier league has been nipped in the bud anytime before it took off the ground.
Our league might have its problems but I don't think the inclusion of 2 clubs from belfast will be the answer to all of our ills. The problems that affect our leagues are that the powers that be have probably neglected it for too long that any attempts to rectify them will take years if not decades to come to fruition whereas some folks think that they will get immediate results.
