And futher enhances the already strong "garrison game" and "foreign sport" mentality that so many like to beat us with.

I noticed a "WE ARE ROVERS" sign/poster up on the wall in the tunnell as the players went out.
I hope they didn't use sellotape to put that up. Landlords hate sellotape. Takes the paint off the walls.

This RM V Shams game sure has seen the level of bitterness towards anti-non-LoI fans rise.

Disappointed Rovers couldn't wear the hoops though. If they had green shorts I wouldn't have seen a problem on the clash front. Didn't like the wierd strip they played in.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

I know tis only said in jest, but it is clear that a lot of supporters are jealous of Rovers and "their" ground.

I say **** the begrudgers! Well done Rovers!

I don't think it's jealousy, it's just a fact that Shamrock Rovers fans seem to be unaware of on here in that they don't own the ground, the council do.

A lot of Europes elite clubs dont own their grounds AC MILAN and BARCALONA amongst them ,the Irish fixation with proprtey ownership has not exactly served the country well let alone football .We could do with a few more councils building top venues to rent to clubs .The richest club in football rents from Manchester city council .

Who says one has to own their ground??

Rovers aren't exactly likely to get kicked out!

For a number of reasons, Shels had to play a number of D1 games in the last few years at Whitehall, due to Tolka been unavailable. Were they therefore kicked out of their own ground?
