Oh, nice. Didn't think anyone would be allowed in, glad to hear they didn't miss out because of the home fans being pr**ks.
So anyone care to make a prediction? As it's behind closed doors, I'll go for 2-1 to Steaua and all to play for next Week in the RDS.
When I first heard of the game being played behind closed doors I thought the stains would be OK. However, I just learned that the Romanian's have played 12 games in European competitions behind closed doors - they've won 11 of them!
Who Cares?!
out of interest Pats fans, has the club made much profit from the Euro run so far? i know that Sadlier somewhat answered that on MNS without getting too specific. Also, if you progress against Stena Bucharest, how much is group qualification worth. Without wanting to tempt fate im sure you guys have done your maths at this stage!!
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
I'll go 3-1 Steaua, think its vital that Pats score out there (or else prevent Steaua from doing so). Apparently the pitch is in bits over there too so possibly this will help Pats some how even if it makes the game less spectacular! Think they could have brought a lot more than 200 fans over tbh, but hope the ones who are over there enjoy their trip.
Cmon County!
0-0 is nearly a better result for the home side in the first leg. they know they'd only need 1 goal in the 2nd leg then and pats would need two.
If Pats get 200 tickets for official etc, I'm assuming Steau will get a similar allowance - which will then inevitably go to their fans to an extent as well ?
It might end up feeling like a Sporting Fingal v Shels fixture at Morton Stadium....)
