Well lads we are half way through the season, Who do ye think are favourites to win the league and Desmond Cup. I have a funny feeling the Askeaton challenge will end this weekend but they could be a major force in the cup

I think the League is Rathkeale's to lose now. But if they do lose a few maybe NCW or Glin could fill the void.
Ncw are real desmond cup specialists. I think losing it last year really hurt them. They will probably want it back this year, but it all depends on the draw tonight.

obviously if paddy power was putting odds on it Rathkeale would be favourites because they are top of the league at the half way point. But there is a lot of games to go yet and it really is going to be a four horse race i think.

Askeaton B and Ballysteen should be great too. Local rivalry and all.

mike quilligan gone to ncw???? first iv heard of it..how come he left rathkeale afc?? no daniel power has not joined ncw from fairview rangers..was talking to him last week and he said he out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury...

went to see broadford youths play cork city today..broadford played really well were up there with cork city..missed good chances at least 3 or 4..winger rounded the keeper but kicked the ball into the side netting..they were really unlucky

Munster Junior Cup 4th Rd
Kildimo Utd 5 Tulla Utd 1. Played in Clonreask tonight Kildimo led one nil at the interval and went four up before Tulla pulled one back but Kildimo finished the scoring.

Brillant to see desmond leauge teams progressing hopefully a newcastle win today and three desmond teams in the last 16.
