My stupid bet of the week goes on:
Waterford, Harps, Shamrock Rovers wins Drogs and a Shels/Fingal draw.
€5 win me €149.24
Im also putting €5 on Derry to beat Bohs at 3/1.
Why not, sure €10 never killed me, yet![]()
Have Drogs, Galway x Dundalk, Shels x Fingal and Wexford on the accumulator tonight. About 50-1. Confident about them all except Wexford.

0.75 pts Double on Shels and Dundalk @ 6.04. 1 pt single on Shels @ 2.5 and 1 pt single on Dundalk @ 2.6.
0.25 pts single on D Crawley @ 11/1 to score anytime. He's a defender but he is also our peno taker so we will give him a go.
0.25 pts on the 0-0 in the Drogs v Bray game. This is will be a tight game with little or no goals and at the price it's worth it. Bray have only scored 4 goals away from home this season.
Who Cares?!
Not looking bad at all RR. I did OK tonight, had Dundalk plus a small bet on Bray so happy enough.
#NeverStopNotGivingUp
Happy fooking days- though I do have one regret. On the betfair forum I said if Bray reach the 5/1 mark I'd back them. They went to 6.2 about an hour before kick off but decided to pass it down. While drogs are in decent form, this was a relegation dog fight and the 1.72 on the home win was an absolute joke.
Who Cares?!
8/11 was a standout price on Shams the other day, they are now out to 1.78 on betfair/daq and the asian bookies, is this an overreaction to the game being moved to Tolka from non-Irish gamblers I wonder, who regard it as a neutral venue?
Finn Harps v Athlone Match
Finn Harps - A depleted Athlone side travel to an in-form Finn harps side tonight. Harps are in a rich vein of form of late, 11 points from 15 and also record an inspiring 2-1 win over Ipswich Town during the week. Athlone haven't won in Donegal since 1992. 1-0 home win.
Longford v Mervue Utd Match
Longford - Mervue have gone to ****e lately, conceding 19 goals in their last 4 games. Longford are no great shakes but should still come out on top with a convincing win. 3-1 home win.
Shamrock Rovers v Sligo Rovers Match
Shamrock Rovers - This game have been moved to Tolka Park due to the Real Madrid game and this have resulted in a price drift on the 'home' win. However, Rovers have played many games here as it became a sort of second home to the former homeless side. Rovers are bang in form while Sligo are well off the pace. Baker and Twigg could run a amok against a poor Sligo defence tonight. 2-0 Shamrock Rovers.
0.25pt treble on the above on Betfair @ 5.04 and a 1.5pt single on Rovers @ 1.82.
Who Cares?!
Cheers, going for a small stake on this.
Backing Finn Harps (Ladbrokes) @ 1.83 - 1pt
Slightly apprehensive about this one now, with the venue change and the fact that we've signed a few players. However, our central defence is still crap so Shams should take the win.
Had a Rovers/Longford double.
Also have an accumulator
Rovers
Longford
Harps
Bohs/Derry Draw
Limerick
Waterford
****, never realised I didn't back Longford.![]()
Poxy Athlone did me out of my modest treble (Shams -1, Longford -1, Harps.)

Harps let me down on this one but won a few quid on three different bets on the Longford-Mervue game placed at the last minute. Backed Longford -1 with €5, over 2.5 goals again with €5 and one I'd forgotten about until just two minutes ago when I checked my account €2 on Longford 3-0 at 12/1, just had a feeling about that score. All in all won me about €40.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
It looked like the bet of the week to me alright, but the Madrid game put me off going in heavier. Thought a couple of players would have been distracted by the game and take Sligo lightly. However, if they did that they would be absolute minnows, so fair play to the Rovers players giving it their all and then some.
Who Cares?!
Looking at the in running odds for Kildare v Limerick and Kildare are out to 6/1 and Limerick into 8/11 with the game 0-0 after 32 mins ????
Glad I steered clear of Mons v Waterford after all!
