St Pats 1 Star 1
Weston Granville off
Coonagh 2 Summerville 3
Knockainey 1 wembley 3
Heard no referee turned up for the granville weston game, wtf?
Thats a very good result for Wembley, they seem to be getting stronger by the game. Heard Summerville where the better team but where lucky to get the winner with 5 minutes to go after having been trailing 2-1, Coonagh must have put up a good fight.
Thats a joke. Happened us last season. These guys want a raise in fees and stuff like this is still happening. Now i don't know if its the LDMC's fault or the refs but someone has to take responsibility for these mess ups, but noone seems to want to. Its just almost an attitude of tough crap.

Any updated version of da table lads??
League Table
This is the most recent table up. Its just missing Wembleys and Summervilles 3pts from tuesday and st.pats and stars 1pts for tuesday.
Coonagh pulled their A team (Too hasty in my opinion) at start of year..No Manager...Needed 5 new faces.....The B team approached committee and they were suddenly the only Junior team in club...new manager did not approach any of the old A team panel and reckoned they would be fine with 16 young lads....!!!
Proof is in the pudding....Embarrassing to all those who played with Coonagh over years to get them as high as 1 A ...and Im one of them...!!
Sickens me to read their results and to hear about giving a walkover at this stage in a season to go to a music festival sums it up !!
But to be fair to the team that is there at the moment they only wanted to be a B team and get started in Junior soccer. Its not really there fault that there was no A team going to be put in for Coonagh this season. I don't see why the A team players from last season that wanted to play on didn't arrive down to play this season, i don't see why the b team manager should approach them and not them approach him? (unless of course they did and he said he wasn't intersted). If the players from last season wanted to continue on they should have got together and sorted out there own manager and found a few new players as from what ive heard alot where either leaving for new clubs or finishing up playing anyway (open to correction there).
The Committee seem to have been premature in pulling the A team alright. Did anyone step up and try to get the A team together or approach the committee Final Frontier?? (Genuine question cause i'd be interested to know how it all went so wong)

New manager came in. Was an ex B squad player. Got a group of young lads and decided he wanted to enter a b team. The A team manager left and all the players from last year decided to retire or go to other clubs as nobody, including myself would take over as manager. At the AGM it was put to the new b team manager if he would be prepared to let someone else manage and mix both teams to form a strong team. He declined as he knew he wouldn't get a game and so the B team was formed. Because of no manager and a slight shortage of bodies, the A team dispanded and long serving players like myself were forced to leave. I joined Coonagh as a 17 year old when they were in 3A. Myself and many other lads played in every pitch around, even reaching 1A a few years ago. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth to think "My" club would relegate themselves after all the years it took to get those promotions. They will struggle this season. If they had remained in 1b and the chairman got up off his backside and found a proper manager then they would seriously challenge in 1B. Now i fear they will become a laughing stock, but i wish them all the best and hope im wrong. It's all schoolboy soccer in Coonagh. There are idiots running the club.
Sad state of affairs when a manager can tell a committe what he will and wont do instead of the committe laying down the law to him. It's a terrible shame, i did see them play last tuesday night out in Coonagh and they were very unlucky to lose to Summerville. We had a young team last year but Coonagh look even younger. Hope things work out and maybe with a stronger committe next year and some common sense they will find a solution. Maybe amalgamation would be an option
Think this is pretty much up to date, if anyone has any changes will they make them. Don't know if the goal difference is right but the points should be.
