Kildimo 3 - 3 Mungret Regional B
Mungret were missing a few starting players, still put in a good performance against a handy desmond league team. Pitch was in pretty poor nick and didnt allow for much ball to be played.
Friendly result

Have regional even 11 signed yet?
I was told the average age of the team was 19/20, im not going to say you will never win anything with kids, but you need a bit of experience to go along with those young players and i dont think regional have that this season. So i wouldnt see them walking through anyone in this league.
As for Mungret, only time will tell. I have only seen them play twice this season and they looked decent enough both times. But like i said before Moyross or the Polski's will be the favourites! if there not off eating swans that is!!![]()
Ya players diets are imperative at this level!! The Pols would want to get there act together!
I hear some of Regionals youngsters are training and playing matches with the A's so that standard will stand to them experience wise...Did the Mungret old age pensioners and Daddys win either pre season friendly you saw??
Never said i was attached to that club, but i have friends playin with them.Drew TWO!! Ohhh...24/25!...time to hang up the boots IMO!! Ye played a week Caherdavin B and some usless desmond league team wasnt it?? Regional dont seem to be rushing into friendlies...only starting to get there full team training because of holidays from what i hear. They have a match tuesday so feel free to mosey on down and see what there like yerself, im sure they'll have one or two forms spare if you like what you see and would rather ball to feet for a change...
One or two spare? ha, id say the managers boot is full of them. Ya as you said i might mosey on down for a look, see how many are lacking a bit of match practise. Cant have that going into a league game away to hyde in a weeks time! Who ye playing and what time is kick-off?

David Gallaher is out with injury until at least christmas, Dirmuid Barry is going to Qatar working for the year and Paul Scales (there top scorer last year) is out for a while according to team mates for the start of the season and Vinnie Naughton may go playing with the A's...he's definately good enough to be a squad player there so it may be hard to hold onto him!...I could be wrong about that though!
