    Kildimo 3 - 3 Mungret Regional B

Mungret were missing a few starting players, still put in a good performance against a handy desmond league team. Pitch was in pretty poor nick and didnt allow for much ball to be played.

Good result for Moyross seeing as Balla B play up in 1A. Looks like they will be the team to beat this year!

Ya good analysis of the game...Mungret lacked any creativity in midfield though Cant see them mount a challenge for the league now that they lost three of there best players...Moyross and Regional to go up!!

Dont think so, maybe between their A's and B's they have 11 signed! But going on their 9th place finish last season they would have to be big favourites for promotion!!

Regional will barely need 11 players to walk through that Mungret team anyway so dont fret! Rumour has it they've signed some impressive young players as well...

I recon including there U16's, 17's and 18's that they have signed they should be up or arround 11 players at this stage!

I was told the average age of the team was 19/20, im not going to say you will never win anything with kids, but you need a bit of experience to go along with those young players and i dont think regional have that this season. So i wouldnt see them walking through anyone in this league.

As for Mungret, only time will tell. I have only seen them play twice this season and they looked decent enough both times. But like i said before Moyross or the Polski's will be the favourites! if there not off eating swans that is!!

Ya players diets are imperative at this level!! The Pols would want to get there act together! I hear some of Regionals youngsters are training and playing matches with the A's so that standard will stand to them experience wise...Did the Mungret old age pensioners and Daddys win either pre season friendly you saw??

Drew both of them, ya i think they will be far too old all right, some of them are 24/25 which must seem ancient by yer standards! Hows the Regional B preseason coming along? How have ye done in yer friendlies?

Never said i was attached to that club, but i have friends playin with them. Drew TWO!! Ohhh...24/25!...time to hang up the boots IMO!! Ye played a week Caherdavin B and some usless desmond league team wasnt it?? Regional dont seem to be rushing into friendlies...only starting to get there full team training because of holidays from what i hear. They have a match tuesday so feel free to mosey on down and see what there like yerself, im sure they'll have one or two forms spare if you like what you see and would rather ball to feet for a change...

David Gallaher is out with injury until at least christmas, Dirmuid Barry is going to Qatar working for the year and Paul Scales (there top scorer last year) is out for a while according to team mates for the start of the season and Vinnie Naughton may go playing with the A's...he's definately good enough to be a squad player there so it may be hard to hold onto him!...I could be wrong about that though!
