Fairview were completely out played, and derserved to be beaten. Mungret really should have taken 3 pts. Considering you can only afford to draw 3 - 4 times in the season view must be kicking themselves as they took mungret for granted and even when they went ahead they acted like it was a forgone conclusion that they would win. Why think that when they were totally outplayed for the whole game. Conny must be smiling at that result. View v Regional sunday is now a massive game for both teams. Trust me bar 10 mins of madness thursday night Regional were easily on a par with the boro and that was without a number of starters ( 3 0f the back 4 missing ) who will be available on sunday.

Well done to Dara Droog it must be said, Mungret looked really organised and very fit and all with an outfielder in goals.

Mungret played well alright however its only 1 game and one that it was always going to be very easy for them to get up for, while the view were imo just getting the fixture out of the way thinking they had nothing to do but play.
It will be a long season for Mungret that said they looked decent on the night.

agree lads mungret should of pulled off a massive shock last night view back 4 all over the place they need to get that sorted molonely and alan barry would eat them alive.

excellant win for the boro i heard they played some lovely stuff maybe an outside chance for the title.

good win also for balla and ul. corbally gerldines and carew to scrap at the bottom from what i was told carew were so poor thursday night and will be a long season for them commitment not there through out the club

abbeyvale in fairness corbally got no favours last season in staying up, they more then deserved to stay up last yr, whatever bout the year before. As for bein useless, they were nil all with 5 mins to half time and a dodgy pen and bad luck killed them at 2 down at half time! wait until all the teams at the wrong end of the table have played each other then start saying their rubbish, star cant say much down in 1A!! as for the pitch, fair enough its a poor pitch but any team in the country would love to have the facilities that they have!!!!

corbally should have lost that game by double figures they struggled to create a chance for themselves but they might just about survive just about though it will be tight i think like last season

I never once mentioned facilities or their pitch, all Im saying is that IMO (which is what this forum is all about, OPINIONS) Corbally are very very poor and will get relegated this season, and if any of ye think any different put your money where your mouth is and PM and we'll have a bet.....

Portland park is a fine pitch and you seem to throw digs at summerville on a regular basis. You must have some issues around the club.
As for the pitch if they hadn't built a road through the baggot there would be a place to play schoolboy games and train. but as the new pitch was not drained correctly the 17 teams will just have to keep playing and training in portland and well done to the caretaker for keeping it in some sort of condition to play.

Well done mungret a great result...
