What version of Windows and Internet Explorer are you using? Has it been updated?
All of a sudden my laptop seems to crash when having three/four internet pages open at once. It often seems depends on the site, it doesnt like betfair for example.
Used to work fine before.
Just need to go to task manager, close the internet explorer and its ok again. But its happening a bit too often for my liking these days, anyone with similar experiences?
My laptop is a Dell inspiron 1525 processor is a core 2 duo T5800, 2.0ghz. No compliants with it otherwise.

Dahamsta's questions are important elroy, but a quick check: what firewall and anti-virus software do you use on it?
You can't spell failure without FAI
Fair enough but part of my post was recommending the model i have. using internet explorer 7 on vista. Probably should try an update alright. Have never really used firefox that much although i know people that wouldnt use anything else.
Using norton anti virus software and also have super antispyware.
Norton's more of a resource hog than any virus! Remove it and replace it with a free one
I use AVG - http://free.grisoft.com
That'll probably do it. Post again if it doesn't.
Okay. Norton has a reputation as resource-heavy like the previous poster mentioned, but it's not that big a deal.Using norton anti virus software and also have super antispyware.
Make sure you have Windows firewall turned on (just type the name into Vista's search box, and click on the link that pops up). A firewall basically controls what talks to and from your computer, and it's an important part of basic security. It may be on by default - I'm not sure whether Vista does that.

Thanks John, the firewall for the domain profile, private profile and public profile were all off so now changed to on. Gonna down the latest version of internet explorer as well and see if that solves the problem.
