mikey comerford is very good central midfielder would be great addition to town, ian clearys experience would be vital 2 if they could sign him

he plays down in kilkenny with freebooters think he has bit of league of ireland experience too with kilkenny city. if its the lad im thinking he is quality midfielder good ball player with physical presence

Cleary is a quality player, having a key role in Carricks FAI Junior cup win two years ago and their Munster success this year. He has been consistently turning out top performances for the Hoops.
I dont think he'd want to leave a real footballing side anyway.
i couldnt see cleary leaving carrick either to be honest, michael coady will be massive loss to carrick after signing for waterford utd, hope he gets a run of games with waterford he is definatly good enough to play at that level

hey mission bell..... he was whipped off at half time in the fai final against killester after he didnt kick a ball, didnt do much against town either, quality player i would not think so, he is decent, but far from quality, young coady is what you call QUALITY
Lots of quality players at Carrick Utd. It's a squad game and top players are regularily substituted i.e Munster Cup Final - its what keeps the pressure on and the trophies coming in !
Ian Cleary scored what was probably the best ever individual goal seen at Ozier Park, v Castlebar Celtic, in the FAI Junior Cup semi-final after which Carrick went on to win the trophy.
