was an enthralling game, villa dominated the first half and maybe could have been further ahead, town came out of the blocks a hundred miles an hour in the second half and a great header from barry ryan had them level but villa responded well and duggan scored a cracker, typically tony scully dragged town level and barry ryan almost won it with a spectacular overhead kick but once it went to extra time was only going to be one winner, town were far fitter and villa fell asleep from a short corner and raymie condon headed the winner, town seem to have turned a corner, john shanahan, rory kiely and barry murphy were strong subs to be able to call on

Town seem to be gettin things back on track.they still wont win the league but at least they wont be fighting relegation or anything.sounded like a very good game.

did barry ryan get any stick for playin with town?
i thought i heard during the year that rory kiely was going to sign for clonmel celtic.

just want to say as a cashel town fc supporter all my life and have been there through good and bad times.i heard there yesterday that david slattery was back training for cashel.its brilliant news for the team he has been missed in alot of the games he has been out as nearly in all the games they were lacking that spark that he brings.lets hope he is back on the playing field as soon as possible.

David Slattery has been a huge losse to Cashel Town this season. In the 3 games he played, he scored 3 goals. He also went off injured in his 3rd game against Peake before half time.

Here is the official squad for Sat night
    Clonmel Town
    Richard Ryan,
    Ian Barnes,
    Tony Scully,
    Dwayne Burns,

    Derek Breen,
    Paul Breen,
    Christopher Higgins,
    Paul Tobin,
    James Walsh,
    Paul Kennedy,

yes the squad is very good.top players in there.i thought cagney was a surprise.i dont rate him.very static but graham doyle is a very good player.i thought i would see alot more celtic players as they have probably been the best team so far in the league apart from saints.

im delighted with the micheals players picked.

if i was the manager team would be

    Ryan
    Higgans
    Chalk
    Breeno
    Tobin
    Fogarty
    Bargary
    Scully
    Kiely
    Moroney
    Burns

    best of luck

No Craig Condon or Ian Fraher from Celtic
Good to see Town turning things around-league maybe beyond them but they are getting stronger

how there is only 2 clonmel celtic players is ridiculous, i'm not sure if they are available either. Players like rory kiely being picked having not played a full league game this season isn't right. very strong contingent from michaels and town as usual but i think the time has come to freshen up the side with some new faces.

I think Andrew Cosgrave would be well worth his place on the TSDL panel. Lots of experience, good touch, pace and strong on the challenge.

One more round of the internal FAI games to go, and all the big hitters in the TSDL are still standing. There should be some juicy games in the last qualifying round. Does anyone know when the draw is to be made ?

    TSDL teams left are

    Cahir Park
    Peake Villa
    Cashel Town
    Moyglass
    Clonmel Town
    Clonmel Celtic
    Balligarry Albion
St Michael's (their match was called off after almost 70 mins due to the weather, but they were 4-0 up)

Nenagh Celtic and Thurles Celtic also won their games, so can anyone fill us in on the final two teams (matches) to make up the last twelve.

I'd imagine a lot of the Premier teams would fancy pulling Moyglass or Ballingarry out of the hat.
