yes the new celtic lineup is very exciting and they play the best football in the league along with saints.i don't think anyone could have foreseen town's demise this year, however i don't think its blossoms fault he is working with limited numbers and they are missing key players...also is there any truth in the rumours that rory kiely is joining celtic?
any score in from saints and peake tonight
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
villa 1 saints 1 disgraceful refereeing, late equaliser for saints, everyone at the game including saints fans to be fair, agreed villa had been spectacularly robbed,it was so blatant, ref made no attempt to cover up what he was doing,a sorry situation
villa had a man sent off, hadnett played 8 minutes of injury time and in the injury time paul breen.....who should have been sent off scored the equaliser
I don't understand why people think the refs want Michaels/Town to win all the time? I'm not saying they don't as I don't see many of their games but whats in it for them like if Town or Michaels win ahead of Villa and Celtic?
A draw was the fair result in the game Michaels should have been out of sight at half time and Peake were the better side in the second half, if Peake keeper could hold on to a ball instead of parrying it they would have won.
Saints made 3 substitutions as i think did Peake so that 3 mins injury time, ref spoke to Michaels bench and booked about 4 of their players (1 minute). Peake player sent off and then decided to run across the pitch to the dressing rooms (1 minute) Think he booked 3 Peake lads (1 minute). That brings us up to 6 mins Saints equaliser was scored in the 95th! Played 2 minutes he shouldnt have.
Saints goal was offside no doubts but should have had a peno about 1 minute earlier after Peake keeper cleaned out Saints lad with 2 feet.
The linesman or refs assistant (a.k.a PLANK) on the St.Ailbees side was Ref Of The Year last season theres a touch of irony for you!
Don't know where you get your time added on from pearso!! Half a minute for each sustitution in the half, so if six subs were made then your 3 minutes is correct. Bookings and sending offs aren't added on. If the physio was on the pitch to attend a player then again its half a minute for each time. The only way 8 minutes could be added on is if there was a serious injury where the game was held up for the player to be removed or similar lenghty delay.

Pearso I would love to know what game you were watching last night (maybe the lights blinded your sight) but saints def shouldnt have had the game out of sight at half time. The first half was a very even game.
Its great to be able to look at this from a neutral point of view. The villa player that got sent off deserved to go 2 bookable offences nobody could complain but the irony in that is that 2 saints players should have gone 1 before the villa sending off and one after it Both saints players were both on yellows when they decided to put in two footed tackles on villa players one of them in question was Paul Breen. Yes it was a pen to saints and fair play to the saints player for attempting to stay on his feet. The saints goal was off side and also it was a clear hand ball to put the ball over the line. The 8 mins injury time was a joke and so were most of the refs decisions throughout the night. Can someone please tell me how a ref fron tipp town is let ref a game of such importance as last night its an absolute disgrace.I am only glad that it wasnt my club that was on the reveiving end of what went on last night.
Are you a ref??
Where are you getting your info from. Im just re-capping all the stoppages and calculating from there. I know 30 secs is added on for substitutions i presumed it was added on for bookings also.
The physios were on for both teams at least once. is time not added on for a sending off considering the Peake player didnt leave the field immediately?
It could be added if he didn't leave immediatly, however it wouldn't be much.....Theres mixed reports coming back depending on who you talk to, some are saying just over 4 minutes was added and some saying 8. Big difference!! I Honestly couldn't see how 8 mins could have been added.

if a goal is offside and hand ball and 5 minutes into injury time.......all of the above we are agreed on , then clearly the referee has robbed villa blind, and the point that the linesman was ref of the year last year is hilarious because i think were all agreed on our judgement of him,he blew a game up for saints last year against bansha 6 mins early,i remember you guys being less than happy then
Lots of bickering going on about this game! I was actually at the game lads and i must say a draw was actually the fair result no matter what way you look at it. Town are out of the running for the league this year so i went to watch this game as it was between two potential winners of the league. Saints just about were the better team in the first half and same can be saib for Peake in the second. Regarding the sending off, it was justified..however Paul Breen did make contact with the ball for the tackle that some people say he should have got a second yellow for...i was five feet away,,he made definite contact with the ball. On the Saints equaliser, there was a definite handball but in fairness the linesman couldnt possibly see it as his view was obstructed and the ref's positioning wasnt great either. Im a neutral here and i didnt really care who won the game but a draw was definitely the fair result..no doubt!!
6 Leagues in a row...can we have another F.A.I. now please?
Oh yeah as far as I know Rory Kiely has signed for Celtic, however the town secretary didn't sign the form in time for him to play this weekend
we could bicker all day about this game but surely if we are acknowledging it was offside and hand ball and we could all see that from the fence....how can we excuse the referee and linesmen with the best views in the house not seeing it??? how did we all manage to see it??
celtic beat bridge 3-1 in a tight affair.celtic left it late with 2 late goals but in fairness the bridge didnt lie down and fought till the end...also i hear young mark power has left clonmel town for cork city, another big blow for the town in my opinion.
How did Town do today
