A terrible game to be honest played in less than favourable conditions.Village were full of hard work an effort in the first 20 but just lacked any end product. It wasnt that we didnt play more so that Village made it very difficult for anything to be played.4/5/1 an like the Leeside game its very hard to get on top when a team is goin all out to stop ya scorin happy to conceed fouls at will, an bascially lookin for a point.Village in fairness battled all through the game, but when a team is on the run we are the luck tends to go your way an we got 3 points the hard way today. We had to just tough it out.

Though Village were full of hard work it counts for nothin if ya dont create an they didnt an we did. I dont care what anyone says but you cannot conceed 6 corners an 6 frees in your own half in the first 30 mins an then be surprised when ya go 1 down to a set peice,an especially against a side who are so strong in the air,we got 2 goals from set peices against Blarney St just Saturday so it wasnt as if Village didnt expect it.Ya have to do your homework on the opposition an try to find out where their strong or weak an theirs none of that in their game,an it shows.

Figo should have scored just before he finished neatly in the 6 yrd box with 35 gone. Gouldie got taken down in the 2nd half by the keeper for a peno,a bit harsh maybe but considering some of the man handlin he was falling victim too in their 18 yrd box during the game I think it was a bit of rough justice.

Village went route one time an time again an it paid off , Lotty scored an absaloutle belter,an I mean a belter with 3 mins left but we saw the game out. In the game in general you can look at it 2 ways
,either they put us on the back foot or we defended very very well an attacked at will.I suppose it depends on which side of the pitch you were on.

We are a very good defensive team, back to front everybody dose their job an the bench plays a massive part.At this stage of the proceedings its not how ya win its just winning is all that matters.

I can understand Village maybe feeling a bit hard done by but all the hard work in the world, means nothing if you dont create. An huffin an puffin against the best defensive side in the league wont get ya anywhere. All in all poor game but where the 3 points go is all that counts.

Games are won or lost in the 18 yrd box.We did it at both ends, defensively an attackin wise.We did both, not all the the time they way we would have liked but none the less done. All the hard graft in the world means nothin if ya dont do the basics in these areas.

Plus points were the character of the team.3 points job done.

Minus.we never really read the game well enough an made an already tough job a lot harder at times.

Shilts what happened on wendsday was wrong and enbarrasing and i apologise from Blarney St.... for some reason the person who organises the gear thought ye were in white and just sent the blue out...i was the one who had the white jerseys but the reason i didnt bring them out earlier was i thought the socks were the big issue... you and all the other experts on this site are dead right tho we should have had a second strip there and i aplogise again for this.... but to question our credibility as a premier league team is out of line and to suggest a fine for us well i think it sums up you up pretty well..... its very tough keeping things going as it is but you think we should be fined....your entitled to your opinion but as some one else said the game was played and no one died
on the game i have to say i can only laugh at your 3 lined assesment..... i honestly cant remember ye getting out of yer own half in the second half and had we got a goal earlier it would have been completely different game.... the same could be said when we played grattan cause at 2-1 down we camped in there half but just couldnt score....dont get me wrong thats our problem and not yers but its small bit annoying they way ye make it sound like a no contest just like that.... a bit too smug for me.... we have lost our last three on the bounce but i can assure you we will give leeside a hell of a game on sunday and we will turn this around.....

Two poor results this week, We drew 4-4 (One baffling descision after another until they got the equaliser in the last minute) with the Glen at the Weekend and lost 2-0 at home to Fairview yesterday. We need to get back to basics, we have a semi-final and a quarter-final coming up so hopefully this week was just a blip.
DCross, ye were on the referees back from the word go and your line did not help either. If ye concentrate on the football side of it a bit more ye could win something this year.

Radio, It looks like both of them will be there at the finish but i think there is a lot of twists and turns yet. Fairview are flying at the moment. Rylane trashing passage 4-0 yesterday. And Like Scaffa7 says ye will have a say in who wins it also.

Huge game for us this weekend - away to a high flying Killumney United in County Cup 1/4 final - we could also do with a favour from Wilton in AUL 2 to take a few points off Glenvale...

Hard to believe Knockraha have won AUL 2B in March. While we're on a run of 10 wins and 1 draw in our last 11 league games and still only top by 2 points with Glenvale having two games in hand...
To be clear I'm congratulating Knockraha - very impressive form this season - won league at a canter and well done to them but just wondering how no other team in the division has seemed to push them...

Seeing as I'm on it. It is also very annoying that in all AUL 2 divisions there is only one team being promoted this season. I brought it up earlier in the season (that was when Innishvilla were not on a good run of form) and now it is even more galling when it looks like it could directly affect the team.
”That should be NO problem for the defence – OH NOOOO!!”
    George Hamilton...

Inish i know you dont mean Knockraha no harm but trust me they are a very good team and have beaten a few 1st division teams in cups this year, including an impressive win over Kilumney, 4-1 win there or something. Theyve also not suffered as much from the erins own factor this year. Division 1 is a totally different kettle of fish next year though and the knockraha lads know that themselves.

Apologies if I said that you didnt warrant a place in the premier. I meant that last wednesday's problems wern't worthy of a premier team. Your attitude and style of play has been great since you got promoted and you always give us a decent game. (Beat us twice last season!!!). As for the fine...I'll let you off with a warning this time HAHA

As for my assessment of the game... I only kept that short as I had other business to discuss. But realistically, if you are 3 nil down after 30mins and reduced to 10 men at that stage against ANY of the premier teams you are at least 20/1 that you'll get a result. Am I wrong??? The goals scored dictate the play from that moment on. Why go for 5 or 6 when the game was over. That said, you lot kept trying to play a nice style and didnt give up as some teams do. Best of luck for the rest of the season and I really hope that you go all the way in the AOH after going so close last year.

At least your 1st kit was kept clean for the weekend

After 2 consecative defeats to Leeds and Leeside we really need to get something from our game against Pearse who have been going quite well recently.
Think its great to see such an open league in Prem A. It keeps all teams interested and in with a shout to get promoted rather than having teams struggling for a team towards the end of the season when they dont have anything to play for. Its such a fine line between 2nd and 2nd last !!!. Behind Kanturk who i think have it in their own hands now it is impossible to call with everyone taking points off each other.

On division 1A it looks like it will be Bohs to win it ,cant see them losing too many at home and if they stay fit and dont lose too many to the gaa season they should go up as champions.Passage will have a say yet as our home form is good way too far behind to mount a challenge but with a quarter of the county and semi of st michaels we might gat a trip to the cross just yet who knows

Marty what happened ye against Rylane, I was convinced they had fallen apart after some of there most recent results they may have had a bigger selection of players available on Paddys day or was it the other way around were ye short on the day?

Wel the only thing could go wrong at moment is injuries but wer doing ok..........As towards the GAA we dont have anyone playing it thank god so thats one less worry but as i said before we have a lot of games in hand and when the night games come in its going to be really tough on players playing 1 or even 2 midweek games which happened to us 3 years ago when we played 8 games in 2 weeks which was a bloody disgrace if you ask me........

Oh and Boo i play for the mighty Bohs!!!!!
