Jes lads, their must be 20 of us postin on this thread an we still somehow manage to nearly slip off the main thread page, sooner the serious stuff starts the better.
The opening up of the new dressing rooms went very well.I'll try to get some pics up on the thread asap.
Any friendlies over the weekend or did the weather scupper things again,,,,,,,,,
Their's only one Dinny Pop's.
Littleman, We are playing your B team in a friendly up in The Glen tomorrow night. Looking forward to a good workout.
heard leeds premier a league manager donal o riordan resigned due to lack of commitment from players over wkend.a team that won the double last year.
Didnt hear anything about it but I'll be speaking to one of their players in work tomorrow. They were back training the first week of July and seemed to have decent numbers
Update - this is in fact true!! The Leeds first division team is being promoted to Premier A - dont know if that means they are withdrawing the first division entry or what

Blackstone 1 - 1 Kilreen - played on Saturday in Monard - The two players mentioned did well - surprised to see Alan Greaney playing first division but he has friends there so why not! That is how clubs progress afterall when they attract players that probably should be playing at a higher level
was at that game as well for a while too.kilreen playing in div i looked handy. have blackstone made any additions to last year.
Iv seen Jason play over the last 6 or 7 years with Hillinton an Marys before that an he alsways seemed head an sholders above who he was playin against or with.Hasnt had the best of luck with injurys either but i think he would definately be worth looking at. His best postion would for me be play in the hole so to speak but with the Aul it always seems to be 442 an I cant see where in that formation he would play in front of a more natural winger or center midfield.
As for Greaney, his ability has never been in doubt,Hes quick has bags of skill an is a real handfull for any defence but has a tendency to get involved with the ref if calls arent goin his way.But for the right manager maybe he would be worth a go,wont know till someone tries

Heard a whisper in some watering holes around the Northside at the weekend
Talk is ,The AUL have circled the wagons
But the Refs are about to STRIKE again
Please Please tell me im wrong
I hope it was only the beer talkin Cech
