Heart lies on the northside Littleman......
Typical Village with only 12 players, next week they'll have 16 and win. Thats always been their problem.
Was talking to a lad from Dillons Cross and he said it was great game alright. Some nice players with Dillons Cross again like Village they can have 11 one week and 18 the next week. Thats usually their problem

De Courcey Albion 3-2 Hibernians
Good result but we were 3-0 up, Hibs really put it to us in the end and we were very lucky to come away with the win. Still though, will take the 3 points....
Passage 5-2 Rylane in 1A
Saw this game, passage were brutal in the first half and looked like they hadnt played together before, and rylane looked like they were gonna have a comfortable day as they went in 2-0 at half time, two passage substitutions at the break and they came out with alll guns blazing, looked sharper and like a new team who wanted it more than rylane who had two good players up front yet they were starved of ball in the second half, passage getting level withun ten mins of d second half had the momentum to carry on and beat them convincingly in the second hald, rylane had a guy sent off with a few minutes remaining, passage looked strong up front and at the back in the second half??
Interesting one, not many sides come back from 2 down at half time to win by 3!!!
Innishvilla had a good win over City wanderers @ home 1:0. missed a penalty too that would have made it more comfortable. Pretty decent run of form in the league since they lost their opening two games, 3 wins and a draw since... Pity there's only 1 side going up this year from Div 2!!!

Folks, I have been reading your posts over the last year or so and have found the discussion very interesting, so I decided to sign up as a member on foot.ie. I am involved with Killowen A.F.C. (Located 1.5 miles north of Blarney) in AUL 2A, I played with the club for many years but since retirement (although still registered as a player in case of emergency!!!!) I help out in the background with various duties. We are having a mixed season in the league with 2 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats leaving us mid table. We have yet to play in the Saxone cup, drawn against Casement Celtic, so hopefully we can get over that hurdle and get a good run in that competition.
welcome on board, very good name as well.
Their's only one Dinny Pop's.
Thanks Littleman.
Slight error in my earlier post. Our league record should read 2 wins 3 draws and 3 defeats,I forgot to include last Saturdays hard earned point against Glanworth Utd. Tough game away to Inter City Celtic next Sunday morning, we have a brutal record against them over the years especially in Popham's Field.
Just as i was leaving Blarney tonight after training Blarney Seniors were to play Kinsale in a friendly - Pat Keane was togged out - i'd be interested to know the score tomorrow

Anyway i play for Bohemians and hope to get to know ye all soon..
Mario your more than welcome an another Knocka head may well keep some of the dogs off my back from time ta time.Great win the weekend by the way.
In fairness this thread is growing in strenght an we seem to have clubs from nealry every league posting, long may it last too.
Their's only one Dinny Pop's.
Welcome on board Mario and onefootednopace - the more the merrier!!
How's it going Mario and onefootednopace. Good to see more and more lads getting involved. Alright Mario,we are in same section as ye. A very tough section, as we have played a few teams that would be of the same level as us. Never much in the games.![]()
Hey gang watching this with a while finally decided to join in!! Playing for Macroom in Premier A. Not a bad start to season 3rd in the league and still involved in a few cup competitions!! Cheers for havin me!!
Thanks littleman the win was more satisfying considering we were missing 3 of our first team players that would walk into any other team in our division so to come away with any kind of a result down there was gonna be tough but the lads dug in and showed a lot of character.. The fellas that were asked to come in and do a job were exceptional..
Hey timmy howz things ya our section is tough alright to be fair. We had a blistering start and then lost to mayfield but as some people were predicting that would be our downfall and our win against Park premier team on saturday just shows we are capable of beating anyone on our day..
We have buttevant now at the weekend another long journey for us.
I look forward to our rivalry continuing timmy very soon i hope lol
As if we'd ever consider ganging up against you wee man!!!
But also I echo the sentiment that it's good to see a few new signings on this forum. I'll be honest it seems to be the only place where decent league info can be found.
Example:- Still no sign anywhere of the full AOH draw... trying to guess it from the fixtures each week. The last 3/4 years I've tried to follow the cups and create excel file with each round but it is incredibly difficult when they don't seem to publish them. Maybe I missed it in the echo but I don't think so... It is supposed to be the marquee cup in Cork soccer, and you can't find anywhere the 1st round or 2nd round draw...
