Forgot to start this thread earlier in the week. Anway anyone else betting on this? -2.34pts at the moment. Here's by bets for tomorrow:

    Simon@1.86 vs Hanescu- 2pts
    Gonzalez@1.51 vs Ferrero- 2pts
    Davydenko@2.2 vs Berdych- 2pts
    Mauresmo@1.6 vs Pennetta- 1pt
    Ivanovic@1.82 vs Stosur- 1pt

Also have a 1pt bet on Seppi and .5pt double with him and Sela (who won) unsettled.

Djokovic to win mens tourno is 10/1. Fantastic price IMO. He has Tommy Haas in the quarters who I have no doubt he'll beat. He'll probably meet Federer in the semi's but I feel he has the game to really compete with the Fed.

And if he managed to get through that, I'd expect him to beat Murray/Roddick in the final.

Wonder guys what your ideas are about betting on how many sets/games do be in a game?

I backed over 34 games in Murrays game today 1/1- won on Safina yesterday for 3 sets or more - 6/4

is there any good "science" to this? I mean like in football Arsenal games mostly have loads of goals, while Hull and Bolton usually dont. Doesnt Murray always lose at least one set???

All about the number of breaks of serve. If you think the favourite is only going to get one at most in a set that's at least 28 games if it's won in straight sets. Also if you don't think it's going to be a straight sets victory you should be covered.

Anyway backing Murray 3-0@1.96 and Karlovic first to win a game to love@2.1. Was -.18pts with my bets on Monday (despite getting 3/5 winning bets).

damn was wrong about the Murray game. Was looking good at the first game 7/5 but jesus knew it was all over when the Spanish guy double faulted to hand the first set to Murray - thats really amaturish

No TV so have to listen to it on BBc radio - awful stuff - at one stage Sergio Garca was giving commentary!!!!!!!!! Read it isnt much better on TV with Henman and Virg Wade

Is Murray really better than last year - he didnt strike me as been that good last year, and even Hass is in the semis!!!!
Though peole are always monaing about the lack of quality in the womens game - i think its the same in the men - take out Fed and Nadal and you are left with very little

anyway there is football on today - normal service will resume

Think you answered your own question a little. Murray is better (he's developed physically) but he's not up gainst world class players. With Djokovic currently in a slump Murray and Federer are the only two legitimate world class players left. (Nadal being injured obviously)

And thats not to say Roddick can't beat Murray. If he serves as well as he can, he's in with a big shout.

One thing that is funny is that they keep showing Murray without his top on here in the papers, and talking about his muscles and "pack" - what a joke he still looks like a scrawny chiken to me, id have him in a fight thats for sure
