balla played shannon after the granville game two weeks ago (i think it was in the cup), and granville again in the league - how many matches did he get and did he play against shannon and granville
Just back from training...we have heard nothing about this as far as we know we are getting the cup sunday morning this has put a downer on the season...torres09 you came last week and , claimed "balla to do star a favour????????????????????????????" which they certainly didn't last night, so back it up where are you getting your "info" from. So was this player suspended for the shannon game also and could they object to that result? This is going to get messy.

Have heard now there is a rumbling of something happening...we are not going to be getting the cup on Sunday...but ya if he was suspended against us aswell and played then of course we'll put
in an appeal/objection/ or whatever is protocal... Between this and the whole pike situation in the FAI the soccer in Limerick has gone ars*ways...why can't a sending off for two yellow mean you miss your next game regardless straight red you miss your next game and then after the refs report further action can be decided....
It's just so frustrating to have been crowned champions and now this...we were offered the cup last night at shelbourne park but because we weren't all there we decided to wait till Sunday.

Sending off is an automatic one match ban and when they get the refs report two yellows is another one added on.
A straight red is a three match ban and im sorry to tell you this shannon man but its too late for ye to object as the time frame has passed for any objection.
Dont know anything about an objection lads.

Balla played Granville last Thursday evening 29th April, which was there last game played before they played Star, so if he was sent off v Granville he would have been illegal v Star as you automatically miss the next game after being sent off, maybe thats what the objection is about, but like I said I haven't heard anything about it from our club, so as it stands congrats to Shannon.
Quick question....what would the outcome be if he was illegal? would Star be awarded the 3pts?
Well there wouldn't be much point appealing if you weren't going to get the three points.

cant wait to see what way the LDMC deal with this mess, will balla have any punishment from this. I mean its not like they didnt know he was sent off therefore illegal to play against star. there can be no winner from this its not the right way to win the league or lose it. both teams shannon and star will in some way feel robbed after putting in a great effort to win the league for the last 8 months.

Got some info on this...The player WAS sent off against Granville but it was the cup game which was played 3 weeks ago. Since then Balla have played Shannon, Granville and Star in the league. The player did NOT play against Shannon as Balla thought this was his 1 game automatic suspension. They didnt get any letter from LDMC to say he was suspended for anymore games so he played against Granville and then Star in the league..
This could turn out bad for Balla cos if they lose all those points they could get relegated
This is going to get very messy so....but that said..he served a game ban(against us) then surely if they dont recieve a letter then thats it....Im pretty niave on the rules and regulations

if he did not play against shannon and that was his next game then that would have been his automatic 1 match ban.if they got no confirmation from ldmc then he was ok to play against star.
Ya thats what they are saying..LDMC sent them no confirmation of any ban so his automatic game was against shannon which he didnt play in...LDMC should get this sorted as soon as possible..
It looks like the referee put in no report otherwise Balla would have got something in writing if this is the case the player was free to play away.
