Not really...Gerry Kelly was sent off in our last league game so he sat out our next(FAI) game but it turns out he wasn't suspended for that just our next league game(which was yesterday) so in theory Colm can play against Regional...but we'd better be certain of the rules!!!

The referee took out his notebook and yellow card from the same pocket together. He took the players name and took the red card from his back pocket and showed that. He never actually showed the yellow card, it just came out with the notebook.

Dromore arent a bad side at all. They played some good football on sunday and Deserved at least a point. They have couple of decent players and if they keep plugging away they should get the results they deserve.

Lads,are ye serious?Dromore are poor and for that matter shannon aren't much better.Its called football,try passing it,not kicking for the corners.

Dont doubt there is a masive gulf...but comments like yours serve almost no purpose, what should teams do?? not bother playing because if they go up they wont be competitive...you have to try and show ambition and then try and improve you you do get promoted.

There are only 3 or 4 teams that are competitive in premier. These teams have the monopoly on the best players and all the other clubs are just glad to survive every season. I for one hope Caherdavin put in a good display against fairview and im sure theyll play some good football. 1A might not be pretty to watch but at least its a competitive league.

We in shannon have a large catchment area and over the years the best players have gone into town to win things(Gerry Kelly, Davy Wall, Philly Purcell) others have drifted away because at junior level we haven't had a competive team in a long time(if ever) but i think if we can get there (IF), then maybe we can attract players to keep us there, we have a new pitch that will be ready for next year and dressing rooms on the way....

I just think you have to keep believing otherwise whats the point!

if ye go up this year Shannonman ye will need to strenghten significantly. That was your problem the last time.
A few of your players tried their luck with park at some stage and didn't cut it in the premier, so def need to strengthen.
Hope ye go up (unless we get promoted then i'd prefer 2 derby games)

well since i left in 1994 i was never asked to sign back....

retirement does sound like a good idea....I can hear the golf club calling for another washed up footballer...
