    New Lansdowne

The official documents on Landsdowne were released by the FAI and IRFU today. The picture of the proposed stadium looks good. If it does get the go ahead let's hope they don't get the constuctors of the LUAS into build it, it might be ready for the World Cup qualifiers in 2050

Looks good! I'm glad to see they'll have a roof over the two ends and best of all, no more waiting on those level crossing gates.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

FAI.ie They have an interesting little piece at the end about the fact that the Government would have to put in €167 mill in but they'd get €84 of that back in tax.

Yeah, I saw that. Do you think Rooney put that in because of his accounting background?

It's kind of a 'we understand that you're putting in a lot but hey, this is what you get back out of it. . .we're no eejits' statement to the government. Fair play to both the FAI and IRFU, they're playing a good game.

looks good, and thought went into the proposal, they've managed to develop a plan for construction without affecting DART lines which will help in the planning too.

Agree that Rooney, the FAI and the IRFU are playing a good game.

If the GAA won't open its doors whilst soccer is homeless the thousands of real sportsfans out there need to boycott the Grab All Association until they agree to open the doors for 4 poxy years
