Corbally 2-2 Caherconlish, not a bad game but a game where chances were'nt taken, c'lish took the lead corbally deserved to draw level, the ref was very poor and brought the game down, eg.. blowing for an offside when the player was in his own half? the away team got their second from a good header, had the chances to put the game to bed but didnt take them. fair play to corbally, always looked to play football and are a much improved team from last year. in the final 10 minutes we had 6 1on1's with keeper and our finishing lets us down.all to do when we travell to Kilfinane on thursday

i think its fair to say caherconlish need to win their remaining fixtures cant see aisling slipping much but as ye were saying its anyones league coulnt discount knocklong either they havnt become a bad team overnight atlunkard too are finishing strong kilfinnane will always be tough to beat at home and holycross had a good second half of the season

watched a good bit of corbally c'lish yest on a terrible pitch worse pitch in the city!why they dont use the top pitch is beyond me they have some good footballers who are waisted cause its impossible to play football on it!corbally took the lead through a good goal from the tall number ten v good target man!ten minutes be4 the break c'lish scored a comedy goal from a throw in corbally fella tried to clear the ball only to ping it off he's own players head went across the 6 yard box for a simple header,c'lish scored early in the second half another comedy goal keeper caught rothen, who turned out to be the man of the match after that from what i heard!thats what i saw of the match fare play to corbally done a few of us a big favour yest lookn forward to playn ye in the cup should be a close game hopes its on the top pitch to make it a good game!

i went up to watch a few minutes of kp match! when i arrived i thought i was in old trafford or somethin kp just scored and ive never seen anyone celebrate a goal like it in the premiership never mind junior soccer! he started doing an aeroplane from one side of the pitch over to the corner flag started doing a tim cahill to the flag and started kissing the badge and the whole team ran to whole lenght of the pitch to grab him pity i hadnt a camera priceless it was i had to head away then couldnt take anymore the whole estate erupted in his headcarlsberg dont do celebrations but if they did kp would rule the world in celebrations

Actually the second goal was a clearence header which deflected off a caherconlish player and looped back in over the keeper. Anyway the stand-in keeper had a blinder towords the end alright but he had to as the match had descended into a farce by that stage with the ref just leaving every offside go after the lambasting he got for a few earlier decisions.

It's great that you get all the top quality refs this high up the divisions We've had Mike O'Halloran (in his first year) and he's the worst homer youll ever come across, and we've had him for 3 away games (you'd think you might get a share of different referees), there's no denying that Athlunkard deserved their win, just a bit of fairness from the ref is all you want

Its turning into a cracking end of season, I think it really is down between all 5 top teams for promotion because all have games where points can be dropped.
Athlunkard have tough away games to Corbally and Kilfinane but for us I think it will go to the Aisling game. Caherconlish have the league to loose, but a lot hinges for them on the result in Kilfinane this week.
But Kennedy Park will still win the league as we all know!!!!!!

it would be a far cry now for kennedy park to win the league in all fairness.if things were being run right up there all season they would have some chance but after the weekends results its gonna go down to the wire id say.id say athlunkard and aishling will come 1st and 2nd if they keep up their form.in what order i cant say
