    Garda ID Cards

Just wondering, apart from your name and DOB, what else is on them? Does it have your address and place of birth?

Dunno. I refuse to get one. I only need one until May anyhow.

If (as a Derry fan) you're u21, and in the republic for a game, do you need an age card in a pub, or does that not apply to 'foreigners'.

Sometimes. Though they got me DOB wrong on me northern driving license (utterly useless), so I can't use it and was wondering about a Garda one.

It would be in your own best interest to get that sorted sooner rather than later.

It's a Garda National Age card so they are only available to people who are resident within the Republic

For people like me who have to commute to Ireland via Ryanair you don't need an i d card, cause when you arrive in Ireland the stress you've had to put up with make's you look 30 year's older, no card needed, and where's the bar.
Its crazy to see people be what society wants them to be but not me.
