    Europa League Gear - Jako

Was in Jako yesterday and they said the Europa League, Jerseys etc will be on sale in the Shop from Wednesday.

The Europa League Jersey is in the window, it has the Europa League stitched in gold below the crest, no star on the jersey for some reason and it also has the Irish flag on the back of the neck area.

    Nice touches.

Had a look and to be honest it looks like like somthing that was put togther quick for the window.

Im sure when the draw is made they could put the other team and the date of the game on it and it would look a lot better.

Dosent it need a FAI badge on the sleeve for Europe too?
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

Doubt you could get the other team embroided onto it as there is only 12 days from draw to kick off, anything but the name embroided would look gammy imo.

I think its a cracking jersey, is it red shorts and white socks then?

Seems to be more questions than answers on this one

THE MATCH JERSEYS MOST PROBABLY WILL - THE REPLICA FROM JAKO I DOUBT IT.

ITS THE CURRENT HOME/AWAY GEAR ONLY ADDITION IS THE IRISH FLAG ON THE BACK OF THE NECK AND THE EUROPA LEAGUE IN GOLD STICTHING UNDER THE ROVER CREST (THE JOHNNY CHADA STAR IS NOT ON THE EUROPA JERSEY - DONT KNOW WHY IT IS REMOVED).

WITH REGARD TO ADDING THE MATCH DATE AND OPPOSITION THIS COULD BE DONE TO THE MATCH JERSEYS AS JAKO HAVE THE STICTHING PRESS IN THEIR SHOP, THEY COULD ALSO I WOULD IMAGINE DO IT FOR THE REPLICAS BUT NOT ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS I THINK GIVEN THE STICTHCING PRESS PRESUMABLY OPERATES ON A BATCH SYSTEM - ALWAYS IS WHENEVER I AM IN THERE ANYWAY.

GET YER ARSES DOWN AND HAVE A LOOK IN THE SHOP.

You don't need an FAI badge for europe.

The problem with putting anything game specific on jersies is when you get throught to the second round and the lad who spent €50 on his jersey for the first game is now out of date

I'd say you'd have to e-mail UEFA about getting the badges yourself.

Badges aren't used in the preliminery rounds

No, it was the first round proper. We didn't wear them v Olimps or Elfsborg (same reason we could play those games in Inchicore but had to move the Hertha game)

What, you could play the game at Inchicore as ye didn't have to have UEFA Cup badges on the sleeves ?
Tifo poles, sausage rolls and a few goals.
