You could get Villa at 8/1 and upwards before the game. Great stuff.
Liverpool 3-1 down at home. I thought Villa might sneak a point tonight but didn't see this one coming. My cousin will be buzzing after this victory. He's a Villa fan and didn't enjoy the stick he got after the Wigan result!

Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Man City vs Arsenal game was interesting. Adebayor's celebration could have lost him an eye with the coins being thrown at him. I think the stamping of van Persie was deliberate as well. I'd like to tune in to the return game at Arsenal![]()

While I think Adebayor celebrating in front of the Arsenal fans was funny, and acceptable, the stamp on Van Persie was a disgrace. Will surely get some sort of ban for it.
Nasty little kick out and deserves a 3 game ban.
Gary Neville got banned for running the length of Old Trafford to celebrate in front of Liverpool fans before. I don't see how Adebayor's behaviour is any different, but someone mentioned that the ref already booked him for that instance so nothing more can be done about it.

Charged then and fined £5,000. There is a precedent for this thing anyway.

The most famous example of Neville's 'Red mist', though, came On January 22, 2006, following Rio Ferdinand's last minute winner against Liverpool. Gary ran half the length of the Old Trafford pitch to perform this provocative celebration in front of the travelling Liverpool fans.
Neville was later charged with improper conduct by FA, fined £5,000 and warned about his future conduct.

I.I.R.C. he only got a fine because he did not leave the field of play. I suspect Adebayor will get the same punishment. If he reacted in that manner to some songs/chants from 3,000 Arsenal fans when playing at home for Citeh, god knows what he will do when he plays at the Emirates against them.

Was channel surfing between the Manchester derby and the cricket and every time I went back there was a goalSaw some great saves by Shay. Could have been 6 or 7. Why did they let Dunne go? No mention concerning the absence of Ronaldo.
Nice to see Wolves pick up 3 points and Burnley win at home again. Coyle could be the next Irish manager once the bubble bursts there if it co-incides with Trapp departing.
Top of the table has a familar look to it. Chelsea are so functonial. Hate Droghba - his play acting whenever he's touched.
As usual the most interest is in the relegation zone.

How is this fella doing it? His dad must be some agent. Absolutely brutal and always has been. The first line makes me shiver when I see where he's been.....
Zenden Training with Black Cats
I saw the Wolves v Villa game. Terrible stuff. The two Wolves full backs couldn't pass to their own team mates no matter how hard they tried. Doyle toiled away and was one of the few who showed some composure on the ball. I wouldn't be too optimistic about Wolves staying up after seeing them in that game but Villa weren't much better.
Spurs vs Stoke was a bit better. Robbie was anonymous and with no start for Lawrence or Whelan, Trapp and Tardelli left early (possibly to go to Stamford Bridge??). They might have been watching DeLap but other than his throws, he was seldom on the ball. Lovely goal by Whelan who came on in the second half.
I reckon Liverpool will win today, saving Benitez's job for another few months.

Pavlyuchenko to demand Spurs exit
The sooner he leaves the better for himself. Wouldn't blame Redknapp too much seeing as the quality of forwards is so strong there. There's plenty of clubs that would be doing very well to snap him up, and not necessarily clubs at a lower level than Tottenham.
Not looking great for Wolves. Need to put a few back to back wins together.
Thankfully, the 9 Spurs got against Wigan shoves Wednesday down to 3rd place for the most goals conceded in the Premiership (8-0 at Newcastle).
Liverpool fail to win again. Beginning to look like a two horse race at the top.
At the bottom as usual is where the interest is. Bolton looked like relegation candidates against Blackburn. Hopeless.

Harte sacked by Portsmouth. Rumours of the appointment of Darren Ferguson. So he might come up against his dad!

Avram Grant it is. Unless he gets funds, I would be surprised if he could turn it around. Not sure he's used to dealing with struggling teams. I only know him from his Chelsea days but he was also manager of Israel. He did ok at Chelsea but ok isn't enough.

Pulis vs Beattie
"Rollickings" at half time appear to work sometimes. Apparently Wenger gave the Arsenal team a right going over, told them they weren't fit to wear the Arsenal short and they turned over a 1-0 deficit.
Chelsea drawing at home and Man U and Liverpool losing at home. Good to see the league becoming a bit more competitive and of course Doyle scoring for Wolves. Robbie looked off the pace againPost Paris syndrome still.
