im getting a new computer is their any way i can back up my i-tunes library on a disc or anything else?

There's an option within iTunes for burning DVDs of your library. When I got my new laptop, I didn't want to waste the discs, so I set up a LAN with my other computer and transferred everything across, keeping the physical location of my library identical on both computers (i.e. if your library is currently C:\Forza Rovers\Music, make sure it's the same on you new computer).
