This will run the same in the last couple of years.
Players will be drawn against each other (1st to post v 64th, 2nd v 63rd, etc.). If you get more points than your opponent, you go through to the next round, get less and you're out. The five rounds of the FAI Cup and the League Cup semi finals will make six rounds and cover 64 players for the first round. If there are more, the last however many people will be in 3-player groups to get us down to 32 for the next round. I'll post up the ties tomorrow.
If a tie is drawn (both players get the same score), they will have to predict the score in any replays. If they're still level, the number of games predicted perfectly (i.e. a 2-1 home win predicted, and a 2-1 home win happens, etc.) will decide, from the next round, the time of the first goal in the round (as reported on fai.ie/eircomloi.ie) will decide who goes through if they're still level.
The Shels v Crumlin replay will not be counted (except as with any other replays to decide ties).
